Kanye being allowed to ult off of smite alone feels like a bullshit interaction

So? Its not like his ult has much damage, its mostly a self save or follow tool.

Kind of the point

His ult alone wont 100-0.

I think he means it in a general sense. His ult resets blue kayn passive which usually melts squishbois

Which would still require him to hit abilities, therefore you didnt dodge everything.

I do believe there is an argument to be made that it makes it significantly less likely that the squishy lives, even if the ult itself doesn't 100-0. Coming out of ult does give Kayn a lot less room for error on hitting his Q, W and being in range for AA than if he used them before the ult. It does definitely give more power to players who play Kayn poorly, missing QW, not getting in AA, and then just Smiting then ulting and still picking up that kill that otherwise would have gotten away.

Hes blowing too many CDs for just picking up a single kill and has nothing to use to get out or continue the fight. Plus, him ulting into a squishy gives the support/team time to react and neutralize him. Hes still heavily punished for all this.
