I think if they know the company history they would have been fine with it.
Runes reforged was good for new players and low content accounts. The removal of the IP sink just makes accounts on any given champion equals, not the account that can have 3 custom pages for each main having inherent flexibility. So thou the keystone and setup for runes reforged might have been objected but the end goal of closeing the gap between accounts is not inherently a bad thing for the game and players. Theres only positives for the game once its in a good spot. It makes it more fair.
Game time changes. Eh hit or miss on this. On one hand I personally really enjoy a longer game, on the other I have been inconvenienced with losses when game times to high because some one ran out of time as they had not expected to see a 70-90 min game that's dragging on and on. I think theres a good balance to strike, and that its gonna be tied into redistributing power spikes for champions via kit changes exp changes and item changes to make the trade off work. AS it is I feel the shorter game times do favor a higher # of the games player base then not so despite my personal preferences I don't see this being internally a huge issue. Player need X, game changed to meet that need. Don't have to love it, cant really say its a bad thing for the game.
Like if you look at season 8 as the year riot decided to make huge changes to the games core functionality, a lot of the trial and error patches make sense, they needed to see how it impacts the game, Live functions as the test server a bit. Live crunches numbers hella faster then any internal team can, its also where your going to find more balanced matches and see the most diversity. PBE is pretty useless for anything besides bug tests, I was pumped, got a PBE account. Its a disappointed place, players treat it super selfishly and you just don't see very well made matches.
Anyhow Mobas are not popular because they are well balanced, they are popular if they are imbalanced. Imbalance makes for more engaging gameplay, The constant shift in imbalance is what keeps it fresh, why different champions and strategy's shift into and out of the meta. Lets disregard that many folks define balance differently, at the end of the day if all stratagys have the same power, the easyest one will be rushed and superior in all matches. The game will be who can execute that best, anything else is less viable because your room for error is higher. And that's it, that's all you will see. That one thing over an over and over. URF modes a decent example of this, Once its clear whos most OP in urf a majority of games are folks spamming that, it takes large player skill gaps to influence the match. Its not hey lets try something goofy and fuin its Huehuehue I AM gonna perma stun as

Anhow bit of a ramble TLDR they might object to any exact change but I doubt they object to the reasoning behind them.
