Lane Nidalee overnerfed?
Most of the Jungle Nidalee nerfs have also had an effect on Lane Nidalee, who was already a rare and somewhat underwhelming pick. Can lane Nidalee get maybe a small buff? Her Base stats are atrocious, her spear wind up time and low missile speed makes hitting spears in lane - especially point blank spears, rather tricky. Her damage is high, but nowhere near as high as it used to be...tanky/bruiser builds don't feel as effective as they should imo. You have to win lane to go even, and win lane extremely hard to actually be ahead... You can lose any matchup easily - things can go very wrong very fast and your spring back potential is very limited. If you don't do hot in lane then that's pretty much GG for you - prepare to be borderline useless for the rest of the game. You have to be very careful in lane, even when ahead, killing your opponents requires a lot of finesse at every point in the game - regardless of how fed you are. You're vulnerable to being camped as, while Nidalee does have a 5cd or lower dash, she has no self peel - and in a straight lane many champions can chase her down as much of her mobility is tied to wall hopping (Which is effective in the jungle, not so much in lane) so most bruisers/assassins/fighters/tanks can hunt you down and stick to you. Her base stats have been hit really hard - she has the lowest base ad of any fighter/assassin in the game. The champions lower than her are only lower due to having a passive that increases the effectiveness of their autoattacks or scales hard with base ad (Miss Fortune/Thresh) Even when you build tanky you're not really that tanky, maybe because her base health is really quite low.
Even RF Legendary, notorious for being a Nidalee Top main back in the day is having a lot of trouble with her...out of all his recent Nidalee games he's hard stomped/carried the game only a very, very few amount of times despite having virtually perfect lane Nidalee mechanics. Then he switches to Fiora/Irelia and boom, great score, tons of pressure, hard carry domination.
