Is Fizz E Fair?

Going to be attacking Fizz E today.

Playful RANGE: 400 COST: 90 / 100 / 110 / 120 / 130 MANA COOLDOWN: 16 / 14 / 12 / 10 / 8 Playful ACTIVE: Fizz hops onto his trident in a nearby location, becoming untargetable for 0.75 seconds and gaining the ability to use Trickster.png Trickster for no additional cost before the effect ends. If Fizz does not use Trickster, he will slam the ground below him, dealing magic damage and Slow icon slowing nearby enemies within 330-range for 2 seconds. MAGIC DAMAGE: 70 / 120 / 170 / 220 / 270 (+ 75% AP) SLOW: 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60%

As we see, it costs 130 mana and has an 8 second cooldown not reduced by CDR and is invulnerable for a third of a second. 0.75)

Now, assuming he has 40% cdr from , let's say Morellonomicon, DFG, Blue buff gives fizz a 4.8 second cd on his E, with an invulnerability of 0.75 each period of 5 seconds. Assuming he has 1000 ap to make things easier, he does 270+750 damage with his E and a 60% slow for 2 seconds every 5 seconds. You take about 1000 damage every 5 seconds, are slowed 2 of the five, and are being bombarded with auto's from seastone and q.

My suggestion for balance? Implement the nerfs on crystal scar fizz into summoners rift, increase his rank 5/4 E cd and lower his rank 1 e cd. He's only OP because he can jump over a wall every 5 seconds, HEYYY THATS ALMOST THE CD OF RIFT WALK. WHY NOT ADD RIFT WALK PASSIVE TO FIZZ'S E SINCE FIZZ E GIVES INVULNERABILITY , SLOWS FOR 60% FOR 2 SECONDS, AND DOES NEARLY 1000 DAMAGE? :D

Fair isn't a relative term when it comes to champions.

An overpowered champion is a champion that is strong through all phases of the game and has almost no practical way of being countered. Tell me how you deal with a 0.75 sec invuln every 5 seconds. What if vayne's tumble made her invincible for 0.75 seconds instead of stealth but the cooldown was 5 seconds. Run that through your mind.

EDIT 1: Vayne's tumble example was a poor example and could be argued with 'what if ahri's ult made her invincible' making said example obsolete and applicable to every champion. Ignore that part.

Fizz is the most overpowered, cheapest champion in the game.

Keep E CD consistent at all ranks

1: Allows you to keep a timer of when he can/can't jump. 2: Not spammy

The Dom nerfs aren't enough. He's still OP there. The first thought is to make it 12 seconds at max rank.

Or better, restrict the window of invulnerability to make timing more important. Keep him targetable until just before he lands on top, and make him vulnerable for the full duration falling off. Possibly lengthen the landing animation as well so he can't instantly Q and dodge even more skillshots.

E->Q combo is too lag-dependent. When I do it on east coast ping, no matter how soon I press to Q I'm always left open for long enough to get stunned and lose it. On the contrary, no matter how fast I target a landing enemy, there's no way to interrupt him before he dashes away. Expanding the window at the end with a longer animation during which he can't act gives everyone a fair chance to react, while all Fizz players get an equally fair chance to queue up a Q to execute as soon as the E fully ends. It would standardize the timing across players, making both playing as and against Fizz more fair no matter where you are playing from.

"assuming fizz has 1000 ap". No. I main fizz and I consider my build to be ap heavy, and only ever reach 780, unless we have 5 dragons.

"assuming fizz has 40% CDR and blue buff" No. The only way to have 1000 ap and 40% CDR (If my math is right, and assuming the team does not have 5 dragons) is to have multiple DFGs, which vastly lowers the item efficiency. (Unique actives can not stack)

If fizz has a build where he can get 1000 ap and 40% CDR, he will be incredibly squishy and will die easily if a stun is landed, because at a point where fizz has these 1000 ap and 40% CDR, the game is at least 35-40 minutes in, and a simple 1.5 second stun will give you enough time to kill him

How about fizz loses armor and mr for a few seconds after casting E, that way he has to make a choice to dodge and not just do it when he pleases.

The point on the 1000 ap is not realistic, i wanted to same time by choosing an even number that is close to end game build The closest i got to 1000 ap today was with rylai and pot, it was barely 900-930.

The CD for invulnerability is too damn much. He can jump in, kill someone, and jump away. Shaco's Deceive CD was nerfed for being even close to this long minus the untargetability.

The CD on Fizz's E should be 13 seconds AT THE LEAST max rank.

Only Fizz get's away with as much BS as he does. Fizz players always cite Vladimir...but last I checked Vladimir didn't ooze over walls.
