What if I'm wrong?

What if I'm wrong? That's a question most summoners on the rift fail to ask themselves. What if my build isn't efficient What if my laning isn't up to standards with how I would like it? What if... I should change?

This is a question most of us see as impossible, it's human nature to think our own opinion is flawless and always correct. Unfortunately, they're not. So here's to one tip that most people that don't rise in ranks need.

You can be wrong.

If you can understand this and grasp the concept of being wrong, you can learn to fix your mistakes that you couldnt see previously.

After all, Acceptance is the first step to improvement.

This is perhaps the most important thing posted. Ever.

You can ALWAYS improve. There is no perfect game. There is always a chance to look back and go "Well, if I had gone there...".

Sadly, no one likes being told their wrong, and that's the other half of this. If you find someone doing something wrong, help them! Do not tell them they suck, just offer advice and do your best to be kind.

I bought boots, Heart of gold, and 10,000 wards.

There is no room for improvement.

sorry but i'm not going to tell my self, "Maybe i should focus the 4k health tank." yes i have been reported for not focusing the tank and yes the enemy honored me in pity once my team told them in all chat that i was a noob for not focusing the tank

My best tip would be to ask yourself:

Are you playing to win or are you playing to learn?

Playing to win gets you elo but for a short period of time and you eventually hit a brick wall. Playing to learn means you will very slowly get elo (and possibly lose elo at the start), but you will never stop climbing!

What if my username is creepy?

I think a potentially "better" way to phrase this, would be to say

What could I do/have done differently to improve the situation?

Because sometimes it's not always about "right" or "wrong" choices, often the choices are situational and it can be hard to discern what the "right" course of action is.

WHAT IF I SHOULDN'T TURRET DIVE THE FIDDLES WHILE BEING 4 LEVELS, 6 KILLS, AND 58 CS BEHIND?

That's a question a majority of my teammates need to ask themselves.

This is a good thread.

More importantly even more so than accepting that you were wrong is learning and knowing WHY you were wrong to do what you did to begin with so that you don't repeat the same error.

Nobody is immune to being wrong at times, it's part of how life works man.
