Is it right to say Fiora is no longer an assassin?

Being the slow melee champion that Fiora is, she was once referred to as a no skill assassin. Why? Because all you had to do was build pure AD then Q/Flash into a Team and hit R to insta kill someone or multiple champions. During this, Fiora was practically safe until the damage was done.

But now that Fiora no longer has that, why should she go assassin now? She has no escapes or abilities to make her safe. And no, Q is not an escape. Its a pathetic dash that has NO distance to it. Going the usual assassin build on Fiora results in her dying if she ever gets near someone to Ult them. Once you go in, you're literally going to die unless your team is steam rolling the enemy team. Even then, you might still die because 5 crappy champions are more than enough to blow up as glass-built Fiora of any caliber.

So does anyone else feel like she's now a bruiser and demands to be built as such in order to do anything?
