Small quality of life change/ buff to Darius
One huge flaw with
in general has been the fact, that he is basically absolutely helpless when fighting ranged champions, even by juggernaut standarts. Now I agree that ranged champions should counter
but I don't agree that any counterpick in general should lead to auto lose the game.
I suggest a small buff to
, that would allow him to have a better chance vs ranged oponnents, while not making him any more opressive vs melees.
New: W Crippling strike, if the target hit by this ability is ranged, for the next two seconds they additionally deal 10%/15%/20%/25%/30% reduced damage. Unchanged vs melee oponnents.
This small change would allow
to have some more team utility, especially considering he will likely play from behind vs ranged lane oponnents, and it would also give him a better fighting chance when he finnaly does get a hold of that ranged oponnent. When you think about it kinda makes sense thematically aswell, as most marksman and mages are fairly fragile a heavy blow from experienced warrior with physique like
would really fuck them up atleast temporarily.
In addition to that, while most juggernauts are kinda countered by ranged opponents, I wanted to prove my point that none of them suffer nearly as much as

, has decent reach with Q,or E, so she can poke back and farm with these abilities.
, is ranged himself, can poke back, farm with Q, and shield harass.
, has sustain, and good range with ghouls to poke back.
, passive shield to mitigate harass and poke with e, or w and some sustain.
, incredible sustain, in addition to having above average range with, Q,also builds full tank so does not get punished nearly as much.
, passive sustain for just sitting back, speed buff and slow removal on Q, can time his W to counter incoming cc and damage.
, passive sustain, can build tanky right from the start, decent range with E poke , and will auto win lane vs every ranged champion that is not named Vayne, just by surviving.
