So, when is Diamond going to be fixed?

I'm getting really sick of losing games because my team mates are lacking basic knowledge/mechanics. This shouldn't be a thing at Diamond, and wasn't a thing until last season.

I can either dodge and be penalized, or play the game, lose, and be penalized. I lose either way, and these players go on fucking up other games with their lack of knowledge. And god help me if I let them know that they aren't the best players in the world.

i.e. I just had a team pick three tanks and Corki. The end result being that we had no damage. I knew it was over at champion select, and the enemy team also knew it was over at champion select.

i dont think its diamond specifically thats the problem. its the ranked system in general still doesnt work properly. for example we were told by riot that our placement matches wouldnt affect us as wildly as they had in the past, which ended up being a lie. you still have brand new players that go 9/1 in placement and get put in mid gold, or previously diamond players going 3/7 and ending up in gold 4. TBH riot doesnt seem to care anymore. seems like ever since summer split LCS season 2 things have just gone downhill

The problem is that you can be complete and utter shit at this game, but have okay mechanical knowledge of one or two champions, and win games often enough to get to Diamond.

If you're 3-0 Riven and have no map awareness, you can easily turn a gank into a double kill.

ya but thats more of a champion imbalance issue. Not to mention NA is terrible period. theres a reason weve never won worlds

Well deserved -20 LP.

4-10 mid lane with a 1 stack Mejai, but the real MVP was our bottom lane, who was 0-7 to the enemy Jarvan ganking them. I asked them to buy a ward, to which they responded: 'lol we have a ward, he keeps going around' They've only been putting one ward down, in the river, and he keeps ganking from the tri brush.

This shit needs to be fixed. There's no reason I should lose LP because I get some Silver-tier players on my team.
