She's not necessarily bad, but she was on the receiving end of some pretty harsh nerfs because she synergized so well with cinderhulk. Then they nerfed cinderhulk and never reverted the nerfs on Sejuani.

Hence the term, Sejuani'ed.

My memory is pretty hazy, but I do remember a Rioter also saying they also nerfed her because she had received enough spotlight attention in the LCS and wanted to basically remove her from it? Extreme paraphrasing, but it was something along the lines of like that.

Shes always been strong though, thats the part im confused on, even before her rework, she was a strong and solid pick, they just buffed her too much when they reworked her. I think in general Riot seems to have an issue with champions being too viable, while having good team lock down at the same time. I've noticed when a good team lock down champ gets to be too popular, and sees LCS play, they very quickly nerf it so it loses popularity, happened with Malphite, happened to Sejuani, notice how Galio and Amumu havent really received any buffs other than minor adjustments? I could just be chasing a red haring, but thats my view point on it.

Pfffft, ends up like Sejuani? People seem to have this misinterpretation that what isn't "the thing now" or "has been recently nerfed from being good" are garbage picks. Sejuani is not that. Until they nerf Sej's crowd control and her STILL ok damage for a Tank, she will always be a good pick.

Sejuani is a good pick, Udyr is now insane with the new Runeglaive, I literally have to use Stormraider and a lot of Magic Resistance to kill him, because else he will always scape.

All they need to do is nerf his synergy with that item, in order to keep it in hand. (Since they arn't likely going to nerf Echo's itself.) Nerf his AP ratios, and you tone down his synergy with that item, without touching his other builds.

increase base damage on r slightely but nerf the ratio so that it would be less effective to build ap. i also think that someone with teir 1 boots should not run around the map with 600 movespeed item 1414 item 3100 item 3742 item 1001 yea thats not right

To toss in some opinion on what a few other comments are, if you reduce his viability with Runic, they'll go back to building SD, if you buff the base damage on Phoenix stance it may over buff SD Udy, unless they made it like Xin W is going to be, where he always has to attack 3 times to get his flame spray.

but with sd you usually do the whole hybrid thing with rageblade gunblade and then some ad/as items so it would still work and you would have to putit on the pbe jsut to see what it does to him as a whole
