My team went 4/30. I had to play out the game for 20 minutes before I could surrender. I don't want to play a game I literally have no chance of winning. I know this is an extreme case, but it happens.
Baunjo2 votesI have never understood why people decide they just cannot possibly win and just give up, it is so annoying to deal with that for an entire game. Its like trying to get a piano out of a 6 story window and the person at the top decides they are too tired and the person on the bottom can handle it. You have signed up for a job, play your heart out if you want to win, whether you are losing or not. I just played a game as nidalee where I was and my team was doing completely terrible. The end score was 37 to 63 and we kicked their asses, and we barely got to 20 kills by the time they had about 50. You really can come back, especially in low ELO.
Gnart Even Close1 votesThere is just such a massive gold disadvantage for our team that if the enemies are halfway decent (as they probably are compared to my team if we're going 4/30) that we simply can't win. When it's no longer a competition, it's no longer fun as a game should be.

Baunjo1 votesYou are talking as if they all just afked and we didnt actually do anything to win. That game was very hard to play, but we win because of superior objective control and rotations. There is no " luck " in this game. It is all 100 % decision making. Surrendering is exactly the reason low ELO players are bad, it shows that they do not understand how to play when they are losing in order to catch up, and they have no idea how to maintain a lead when they secure it. You would learn a lot in this game by not surrendering every time the game gets hard.
Gnart Even Close1 votesI'm saying that a good team would have kept you out of the game and not let you make a comeback. They failed to press their advantages and might have let you get a couple free kills in tower dives. They obviously made mistakes if you were losing that hard and managed to win.

Two Shiv Poison is pretty RNG when you're trying to blind a jungle monster.

Could be. Every hit you take is a hit you could have possibly not taken and every hit you could possibly not take is more damage you can take if you get invaded.

Koraji yo1 votesOnly 10 minutes into a game, there's no discerning who's won or not. Low enough elo where players can get a huge lead is also an elo where people love to throw games. All this would do is make bad starts worse as you'll have to be dealing with that one salty players /ff spam from the 10 minute mark instead of the 20 minute mark.

Gnart Even Close1 votesSometimes my teams troll me (and I would like to point out that despite my KDA, I did the most damage to champions in that game). Like I said this was an extreme example, and the enemy all had snowball heavy champs. But I seriously don't think I should have to play the game out that long, just like if there was an AFK I shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes.

It still requires 4/5 people to vote "Yes" and if you don't want to be bothered with the surrender box popping up over and over, just move it off to the side or something.
