I do not know who started this ancient meme. But seriously, this must be one of the biggest yet oldest noob baits in this games history. Resulting in a farm reliant squishy late carry, with a pilot that cannot farm and will take headfirst all the cc.

You cannot carry constantly as Yi if you do not have pathing or insights and knowledge of flanking of that of a high gold at the very least. Just having an lucky penta adrenaline rush in one of eight games does not mean you mastered him, and certainly NOT if you just happened to feed and was able to get to lategame. You just abused the frustraing part of his kit that automatically activates. Stop bragging for hells sake.

you can though, the issue is you're just a silver yi.

yi easily carries up to plat as even gold players still struggle with grouping or coordinating/landing CC, sure sometimes they do it but ultimately they need a carry present to blow him up or he just snowballs and its hard to organize a 2v1.

Yeah, and people who don't know what the keybindings are also suck. But you can't cherry pick your experimental results. Most people taking Yi to carry have a minor concept of the game. And I've seen some Yi's carry stupid hard.

Just because the occasionally mouth-breather goes into a game on "He looks cool" alone does mean the saying isn't true.
