got my first couple of keys this cycle within a few days due to a lucky streak, and havent seen one fragment since then in 3 weeks.
i get the declining droprate, but is the hard cap on the fragments really necessary?
im not going to buy them from the store.

Got the Mecha Sion skin...but without any essence to forge it due to the lack of CHESTS!.... yea, it's just gonna sit there and ROT.

you only get one chest per champion per season. that might be your problem. as soon as you unlocked a chest for a particular champion, you need to get an S on another champion to unlock the next chest.
this means youll have to get S ranks with 40 champs per season if you want to get all chests.
so far its been a lot easier for me to get those, than keys. which is intended by riot, but doesnt really make it better.

WeedTits1 votesSame, I got enough shards to forge 2 keys, haven't seen a single fragment since. The drop rate is supposed to improve after every game one doesn't drop though. Kinda feel like that's a lie though.

thy do, but youll never accumulate enough keys to open all chests. there is not just a decline in drop chance but actually a hard cap on those things.
