Jungle tips

For the games where 1-2 of your lanes get solo killed very early on (before first clear), what can you do as the jungler to win? And before anyone says, "Sometimes you can't do anything", that's statistically improbable. I just had four games where my bot lane and mid lane died before I did red, so there's clearly something I'm not doing right. Should I try ganking after the first buff? How succesful, in general, are "cheese" strats when used on junglers besides Eve/Shaco/Lee?

some champions can pull level 2 ganks, my favorite is vi, steal his red(smite it) grab Q and go for the Q+W combo (sadly not E)

But realistically if you see that the enemy lanes are too far ahead for you to pull a a gank try controlling the jungle. You can set yourself ahead by being a pain on the enemy jungler (they are most vulnerable after the second camp and at level 5 by their buff (the one they started) if early.

...That just seems like prolonging the inevitable. So you're saying that I should just farm jungle while my lanes get solo killed over and over again?

After watching this video, I'm pretty sure jungle isn't for me. If I were following this guys advice, I would've accepted my last four losses two minutes in to the game, which is just dumb. If playing jungle means having games you can't carry, then I don't want to be a part of it.

Depending on what jungler I'm playing, I will try to do a level 3 gank if I have healthy clears and am at least half life or above. Though, yes sometimes there is nothing you can do if laners are just awful, but sometimes one solo kill doesn't mean that they will continue to die. It could just mean that they made one mistake or miscalculated damage. Still gank when you can, as getting kills on them will help fix the hole they put themselves in.

If the laner just keeps dying and dying and it's an ungankable lane (risking giving the enemy a double kill) try to camp a lane doing well and getting them so far ahead it won't matter that your midlaner is 0/5.

As for cheese stats you mean invading the jungle early to get a kill? You have to know your match up. Do you have some way to surprise them like a Vi Q into their camp? Is it a jungler that has a rough first clear? I cheesed a Wukong as Vi and got first blood because Wukong's generally have awful clears unless the person is really good with him. Amumu is another that can be easily cheesed depending on your jungle pick.

If they losing lane but there's still hope of ganking, ask them to let the enemy push as far to the tower as possible then gank. Try to engage a second or two later after your laner does...any later and it could be death for them

One mistake a lot of people make is trying too hard to force a gank in on a losing lane, but they end up wasting too much time and get themselves behind, which leads to 3-4/5 people being behind, rather than 2-3/5. I tend to play carry junglers like Kindred, Shyvana, Udyr, or maybe even Yi. With champions like this, the best thing to do is to farm as much as possible, and try and make up for the lack of power in those losing lanes; also, if you are going to gank, focus on the lane that is winning, try and get them fed as possible, and then once they take their lane, get them to roam with you, and gank other lanes, 2 champs that are ahead can get a gank off alot easier that one early level jungler thats behind.
