do beginner champions have to be so easy?

specifically Garen

first off garen, probably the most braindead linear champ in the game, q e r repeat, he doing bad in lane? well now he does true dmg to ya because of his tard net villain mechanic. now im not saying hes broken, at all, BUT hes a perfect example of a champ that was designed to be too easy which imo is a bad way to make beginner champs, now a good example of a beginner champ is Annie easy to play, plenty of wiggle room to get better, not a half bad skill ceiling and good at teaching you what a mid laner should be from early levels, she may be linear but not to the point theres only one way to play her or one combo, her passive too is a great one when it comes to some small early skill expression for both the enemy and herself (knowing when to back off, setting up for a all in etc) and garen? free hp if you dont blindly run in, boring and uninspired his main point is to be dirt cheap dirt easy with very little wiggle room for skill expression outside of maybe w timing and game knowledge.

want a good example of a good beginner champ top? Warwick now ya i know hes a jger, but, if your getting someone into the game i cannot stress enough how good it is to start them out on warwick top. lots of room for improvement, great duelist and lane bully to have a more easy time on, great champion to teach simple outplays and situational decision making, most of my friends that ive gotten to play ive done this with and it works wonders whereas friends ive had play garen could barely play anything else for a much greater time because of how many champs you have to have them learn more to work their way up for being used to a lane being handed to them

If you dont think theres a difference between good garens and bad garens your crazy.

the only difference is the player, a good garen is about 90% game knowledge and decision making 5% itemization and runes and 5% actual garen mechanics
