You're playing Nasus and complaining about having it rought with ONE out of 144 champs - that's silly enough in and of itself to downvote you.

But fine, here's the answer: you outscale him at level ~13 due to your lifesteal and the rank of Siphoning Strike and Wither. Build some early MR -> Sheen for lasthitting -> Spirit Visage or Banshee's depending on whether you want to be a reliable frontliner later in the game (SV) or just shove the lane with Spirit Fire (Banshee's). The rest is up to you, but I'd go for Triforce since at rank 5, Teemo should be permaslowed by Wither. Force his Blinding Dart, then Wither and give a chase; Teemo can't outrun you and now you have a short window in which you can land at least a couple Q's. The real trouble begins when you just back off whenever you take poke - don't do that. You're either aggressive and, with a bit of thinking, win, or you're passive and end up losing a ton of gold and stacks while Teemo has free reign to secure Baron and top side jungle. Never forget you have a ridiculously high innate sustain, which Teeto doesn't. And naturally - ask for some ganks pre-6. It's not even a matter of getting help. Teeto is one of the easiest kills to pick up and you have just the right gank opener with Wither.

heres the problem jungle ignores top lane despite the EZ kill top. so im forced to feed a kill and lets not forget the op flash/ignite thing and tower ignores him. or the enemy has magical eyes despite not even warding. always backs up when my jungle actually decides to come. so your saying the moment i can kill him is when i get tri force? plus magic resist doesnt really work early game i even took dorans shield and magic resist shard with a cowl and he still does psycho damage.

Aight, let me be more specific. You don't try to 1v1 a Teeto pre-level 7. This is mainly because you receive a huge sustain spike at level 7, which helps you both survive the fight and rejuvenate should you lose the trade. Also, this isn't far enough into the laning phase that Teeto should have covered the sides with shrooms already. If the wave is in your favor, wait for Teeto to AA/Blind you and then give chase to him. If he AA'd you, wait for him to Blind you, then Wither him - blindness should've passed by the time you catch up with him and this is your window for a favorable trade. If he Blinded you right away instead, just Wither him already if he's in range, then proceed as explained. I shouldn't have to tell you to keep track of his mushrooms - their damage to Nasus in early game is negligible, but it's the slow that kills you.

Now, for the turret-hugging: Teeto actually has it harder than most ranged champions, as his AAs deal damage over time and he can't really commit, being constantly recognized by your turret as an attacker. Most of the time he will attempt to Blind you instead, then approach your turret to get CS/whittle down the structure/just to spite you. If he does that, it's your perfect moment: assuming you're not on the verge of death and there are not too many shrooms about - go for it. Flay the badger. Remember that turrets only ignore players who: a) Enter stasis effect (Hourglass etc); b) Become Untargetable (Yi's Alpha Strike etc); c) Kill you with a single blow - if the turret ignores a lone Teeto who flashes under it and kills a Nasus, then it's not the turret that malfunctioned. It's the Nasus that died to a single attack instantly. Turrets are scripted in a way that checks for an active combat flag between an allied and an enemy champion. That flag doesn't activate if an allied champion just explodes. Therefore, try not to stay under turret on low health, ever. You gain nothing by dying.

And the items:

Even so much as getting early Mercs helps a lot, believe me it does (cuts Blind's duration by a third and gives you enough damage reduction for your passive sustain to keep up). Sheen is, obviously, Susan's core, but in this case you will want it simply for the luxury of having a wider lasthit window, which should allow you to not only farm safely under the turret, but also forbid Teemo from denying you as you approach the wave. Not to mention around 15-20 extra HP healed off of Sheen. Then one of the two:

  1. item 3211 -> into Spirit Visage or Adaptive Helm. Take Spirit Visage for higher sustain if Teemo is skirmishing, rather than constantly pushing. Take Adaptive Helm if Teemo is barreling you down and clearly overextending AND you don't feel like you can retaliate. The reason I wouldn't ever take Adaptive Helm myself is that whenever Teeto pushes too much, a well timed Wither can and will shut him down, so I'd just go in for the kill.
  2. item 1033 -> Banshee's Veil. This is heavily off-meta and only taken if you max E second rather than W. Helps you shove the lane and get some creeps, but, obviously, deprives you of stacks and slows down your core build. Up to you. Next, getting Gauntlet vs Teemo is simply stupid, although it is a powerful item in terms of teamfight utility. Get Triforce instead; while not often a reasonable option, it helps you deal with squishies e.g. Teeto. The rest, as I said, is up to you. You need to make your choice pre-level 6 - see how Teeto behaves and decide if you'll be able to all-in him level 7 onwards. If you think you can, go Merc->Sheen->SV->Triforce. If you can't, change your build respectively. Once you allow him to safely shroom the fuck out of your lane, you lose your advantage. Keep that in mind.

Also, keep in mind this is coming from a Teeto player, not a Susan player. I'm telling you what works against me and what Susan players often build against me... and, sadly, win sooner or later. Nasus will always outscale Teeto, eventually.

k thanks its just that i dont play vs him much so i dont really know it.

GraćSięNieDa1 votes

Oh we're so sorry to hear Nasus actually has a counter. Guess it ain't cool when you can't 2-shoot everyone at 15th minute mark with 350 stacks and a item 3078 , eh?

xDogMeatx2 votes

well thats not very constructive. im guessing i am forced to go ap then.

You don't have to build AP if you're playing an E max build. Just get a corrupting potion + dark seal, and build as you normally would.

xDogMeatx1 votes

it feels like when hes going liandries im just doing tickle damage while also wasting mana giving him a slight dose of radiation that can easily be shrugged off.

KVbqbFsC8e1 votes

The purpose of E max isn't to kill the Teemo, its to make farming much easier because a good Teemo will completely zone you otherwise. You still need to be stacking though.

xDogMeatx1 votes

so its basically to get some minions into kill range?

KVbqbFsC8e1 votes

Or to keep the Teemo away when you try to stack those minions. Nasus E isn't really dodgeable and Teemo cannot afford to be continually hit by it early on. You will have less stacks with an E max build, but it will make the laning phase much easier and you will not miss as much CS.

xDogMeatx1 votes

so... i start corrupting pot and depend on the ticks and my max e to nudge him away? if im understanding correctly and farm with q if possible on cannon or a stray minion.

KVbqbFsC8e1 votes

You can also start with a Dorans ring, it doesn't have to be a corrupting potion.

xDogMeatx1 votes

oh ok next time ill try doing that im used to the usual Q stacking when possible.

Tormyth1 votes

item 3194 is anti damage overtime, thus anti teemo

zPity1 votes

skill e up to three so you can get the casters off your back. then farm it out

xDogMeatx1 votes

oh ok so pretty much your advice deal with melee minions only good idea also. i usually stack with Q the usual way.
