Really dislike this game currently
Probably just me getting older but It honestly pains me to even login to League these days. New runes/mastery provided me no interest before they were released knowing it would further increase damage creep in League and make the game almost unplayable for months. To no surprise that is where the game currently is at. No doubt Riot will work on balancing but at same time will always increase imbalances in other places. Maybe younger crowd is excited by this but I am sick of it.
And with new rune/mastery release obviously Riot and everyone knew the game would be messed up, which is why we are back to extended preseason. So no reason to play ranked right now... which lets face it ranked is really the only reason to play this game to begin with. And even when new season finally starts ranked is unplayable for roughly 3+ months. Games so unevenly sided due to rank soft resets. You wouldn't think Riot could screw that up but they do every season.
So if I actually cared about this game and still wanted to play some competitive ranked games I will not be able to by May/June 2018. By then the meta will be completely different, which I hope so since all my favorite junglres garbage right now anyways. I would love for Riot to work on keeping champions in roles to within a max win rate difference of like 4% from #1 to bottom and have a season that is incredibly balanced, but it will never happen. So either risk playing champs you love and enjoy the struggle of trying to carry with a handicap or just pickup top meta champions and hard carry games after a few games of practice. So dumb :(.
Only redeeming feature I see coming in the future is team clash or w/e it called. I would really enjoy that mode except most my friends have quit by now so the chance of actually having a team by then is little to none. Rather you guys created a team ranked mode that was competitive with some restrictions like what clash or w/e supposed to be years ago back when my friends and I actually cared about this game. Instead of wasting time on boring ass features.
