Orianna vs Yasuo mid

How does one play this? For crying out loud, this seems impossible but I may be just me.. I started out with Seekers armguard, but still... Level 1 I hit him twice with AA and with my ball, Yasuo damage taken 0%. He leaps to me and hits me once, 30% damage. Level 2 same thing but he does 40% damage. From that point on I can do nothing, not even farm, because he can just kill me under my turret with ignite and get out without even using flash.

From there on out it's a frag fest. Dive after dive after dive, impossible to trade against and he keeps on killing me over and over again??? I mean I can play passive and NOT farm under my turret, but I need at least something, but I am getting no farm at all, I am just done. How the fck do I play agianst this piece of sht.

Orianna is extremely oppressive in lane due to her harass. Always keep a set distance from Yasuo, about 525 units away (the size of your auto attack range). Getting too far will cause you to get pushed in, getting too close will invite him to all in you.

As soon as you have this down, go for auto attacks whenever Yasuo walks up for CS. Save your Q+W until his shield is down. Use E when he dashes in, make sure the ball passes through Yasuo for extra damage and a slow.

simple: you dont.

i love when you play adc, yasuo places his windwall and moves himself inside of his windwall and i cant hit him at all. its impossible cause broken ass hitbox.

Ori is one of the better matchups into Yasuo...

It's simple. You stay back and cs. If he starts Q, you start Q. E start if he starts E. Trust me you'll find out which he starts before you need to skill anything up. QEQ or QEW is gonna be your skill order.

Generally against melee mids, you want to shove into reset into a freeze, but since that doesn't work against Yasuo you'll want to let him push. Try to push enough to not get the wave shoved into tower but not so much the wave evens out. Use this to scale up because he can't jump to you and harass you without pulling aggro. You can use this strategy for the entirety of laning phase to scale up.

why would you qew, unless youre on top of him your w would miss and if hes on top of you your first priority should be e then w with q being the least of your worries.

I had an issue with him too. I know the champ is really strong but I am trying to think that It is because he carries Conqueror (and the synergy is too strong) and that his kit is not overloaded. That is what I am trying to think...

Orianna counters Yasuo.. She always wins against him.. Im 100% u played it bad

Okay, that's strange because Ori winrate vs Yasuo is at 49% while yas is at 51% so there goes that argument.

winrates dont mean anything, god thats such a low elo argument... Thats like saying ryze is bad because of his winrate. No. Ryze is completly busted and disgusting as ever.

Yasuo loses laning phase 99% of the time except the special cases (like this one) when the ori plays it waaayy too wrong. Ori has a hard time solo carrying as she needs a team to function for her to carry

Yas has an easier time carrying because he doesnt need teams as badly as ori does, believe it or not.

Time to get downvoted for saying facts, cya later everyone

Okay kiddo, I am a platinum level player, so yeah low elo I guess. Just can't seem to win against a silver Yasuo.

Time to go home.

Play and silver are no different, trust me, i have freinds and other players that know this, and that can confirm. Your ego is not evidence sadly. YASUO LOSES VS AZIR AND YASUO LOSES VS ORI IN LANING. You know what laning is? i can explain it to u! only if u want tho.

You can never truly deal with a good and skilled Yasuo player (which is the champions biggest problem as pointed out by many challenger players), sure people here say that Ori counters him, I guess that compared to other mages who just get automatically raped she does "counter" him by being able to play safe and never engage in bad fights in which case 1 of 3 things will happen:

  1. his jungler with a displacement spell will come and they will easily tower dive you because towers are garbage

  2. he will push your waves super hard, you push back just as hard, but you use mana for that so you go oom and you die/recall and fall behind

  3. he will push your waves super hard, you don't push back and farm under tower, he roams bot/top and solo carries the game

There was only 1 mage who could consistently dominate Yasuo in lane, of course that was Malzahar, but since he got gutted in the damage department he can barely 1v1 any more, but at least you can push waves hard with low mana cost and pin Yasuo in lane so he can't snowball elsewhere.
Every other mage just falls flat because you need a fuckton of mana early game to push as hard as Yasuo can with zero mana cost, it's very hard to harass him (while he pushes the wave) with his windwall and passive and it also costs mana and he can always turn on and kill you if you go 1 step too far. All in all a smart skilled Yasuo player has no counterplay other than you not picking an actual mage, if by counterplay you mean actually beating him and getting a lead early game.

At level 1, try to allow the wave to push to you. When it's frozen right outside your turret, start harassing him with autos and hover your ball between his minion wave and yours.

Once you get ludens and if you have electrocute you'll be fine and have fun one shotting all their squishies!

I remember that when I used to play Mid (Ori and Syndra mostly) I didn't had a problem against Yasuo as Ori at all.
