So it's been 4 and a half seasons since Yasuo's release

And they have yet to fix his broken kit as a champion. He has had a constant above 48-52% win rate, with a high pick rate even with people being utter garbage as him dragging his win rate down, and to top it off his ban rate has always been super high. I'm not saying he's been OP since release, but he's never been in a healthy state. Whether is was the stupidly high ult range on release, the tanksuo meta golem build, and he's just gotten stronger and more consistent with every crit item rework. The fact that he can basically take any runes he wants is a sign that his kit is inherently broken. Just taking Grasp of the Undying isn't bad, not optimal but far from bad, because it's essentially lifesteal that also increases his base hp every 4s and lets him invest in more damage without buying defensely.

Honestly Riot needs to focus him. He's high mobility, no resource, high damage, high defense, can go into pretty much any lane, and relevant all game as long as he keeps up in gold. I think the first course of action is nerfing his early game to make him scale harder but his damn double crit chance passive makes it near impossible to balance. I honestly think his crit chance passive should be moved to his ult and made to scale like this: (passive: 50/75/100% bonus crit chance). His windwall should also be made a set distance in the direction he chooses and no longer be a moving projectile to stop it from blocking things that are behind it when it spawns. After that maybe buff his e to be able to be used without a target but putting it on a global CD instead of its normal mini cd to give him some flexibility back, but that could make him too safe.

Funny enough, I thought Yasuo was way more broken 1-2 Seasons back when damage and snowballing wasn't even the meta, if Yas was truly that broken he'd be pick or ban at the moment.

Snowballing wasn't the meta? The season with new rune system the replaced the old ones was one of the most snowbally we had seen until this season. The new runes just damage creeped even more. It was exactly 1-2 seasons ago where surrendering at 15 actually became a thing because of how snowbally the meta got.

55% ban rate 23% pick rate 50.8% win rate. You do realize Lee Sin who was considered strong by the community until SS removal hovered around the same stats with a lower win rate for 3 seasons. I think his win rate was sitting at around 46-48% most of the time.

Broken =/= OP. Broken = impossible to balance because the kit is just plain either overloaded or has way too many levers to tune.

I mean jug, tank, adc metas. but yeah his passive is kinda busted because he already has a harass shield, so getting double stats for x investment feels stupid, but imo he is not as bad as you think he is.

But yeah I wonder what kind of horrible design the creator of Yas and Zoe comes up with, maybe 4 passives next? He's already ruined so much freedom from the item design team via Yas' crit passive and Zoe's active ability stealing lol

ADC meta has been around since Season 2. They just got progressively stronger and all of the sudden got hit in the back of the knees with the most recent patches. But IMO the way they are being pushed is much healthier. The old lifesteal carries of season 3 and 4 were much healthier for the game overall. Juggernaut and tank meta IMO wasn't that bad, but then again 2 of my mains back then were Gnar and Vayne.

I only find his WW broken, unlimited damage blocker is too much, especially for mages with little to no mobility

I mean I would be fine with it as long as his early game was weak to compensate. The only thing he really loses to right now is heavy sustain ranged champions early, because he can't really get to them with just his Q, or super strong melee lane bullies and even then he has the potential to outplay because of the minion wave and his e.

The strongest thing in his kit is his crit passive actually. Because you can play around the WW but not a free 30% crit chance around level 7-9 which is essentially a free 22.5% (30 x .75) dps increase considering his Q can crit

CertT just shouldn't be allowed to make champs, makes the game a mess and extremely difficult to balance the champs, what a child of a developer making a mess and leaving it
