About Vayne: Hasn't her Q damage with crit been that way for a long time?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but how come it's now becoming an issue? (I'm aware it's being nerfed and am very much ok with it)

Short answer: NO
Up until patch 6.15(like 4 months ago) Tumble's bonus damage was using an independent crit roll instead of being tied to the same crit roll as Vayne's basic attack. People thought nothing of the change, and still built her with AS BORK back then, but then later on Q got buffed(patch 6.17 Bonus damage increased to 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 / 70% AD from 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50% AD.) and to test it people went crit, and finally caught on that Q critting is ridiculous.
Her Q's AD ratio was buffed a handful of patches ago, and the nerf on PBE brings it back to its pre-patch values.
Still, lots of sleeper OP builds tend to exist until they're discovered and/or the meta shifts to make them more apparent.
Yeah I though as much. I guess her strength didn't come to light till they nerfed Ashe and Jhin
The ratio was lower before. And at some point, the crit rolls were different. One crit roll for the tumble damage, one crit roll for the normal attack (aka there could be a crit on both, crit on only one of those. Overall the variability was higher. Now it's less chance to have some form of crit, but if it's a crit it's a dirty full crit with an increased ratio, and that on top of, like, statikk shiv, is horrendous. Nearly one-shoot crits. Is Vayne the new RNG overlord? idk. But overall since her DPS is still insane, it's basically either you crit and win instantly, or don't and it's still ok, you're still kinda safe with invisibility, ms and condemn.
Ah I see. I know it's not popular and pure cheese, but I've tried Guinsoos on her and that was really fun.
