A Simple Poll

Riot, why not leave this to a poll? You know, one that get's offered to league players from all the servers.

Send out a poll asking how many people would support a coexistence between Solo Q and Dynamic Q. Add the options these options:

• I would prefer to have only DQ
• I would prefer to have a coexistence
• I would prefer to have only SQ

And to make it fair, explain the expected results of adding each option. For example, before the player selects the coexistence choice you can remind them that:

• This will most likely result in high wait times for games
• DQ matchmaking will most likely become less accurate
• SQ will likely replace DQ for ranked

etc etc.

Obviously don't do this on the boards, as they are incredibly biased, but do it as a global poll. You don't even have to release the results, just allow the voice of the players at least influence your decision on whether Solo Q will be added.

This will not only provide the playerbase with much needed Riot attention as to if you listen to us, but you will undoubtedly obtain results that either support your likely decision to throw away SQ or results needed to make the decision to add SQ. The only downside I can see is the cost, but would that really be so much considering everything a poll like this provides for you?

I'm trying to find a common ground were we can at least have a negotiation/influence on how the game proceeds with this important issue. Yelling and having a temper tantrum at you guys wont solve anything, and forgetting about it (which is likely going to take a longgg time) only stalls the issue. Work with us as the players Riot

P.S.- If a Rioter would be so kind as to comment on any downsides or reasons why something like this wouldn't/couldn't be possible, I would be more than happy to listen to your reasoning and talk about this. This is just an idea, and I would love to hear a Rioter's personal opinion on this matter, no official stuff. You guys obviously know more on how things work at Riot and all.

P.P.S- Any board members who read this, I would greatly appreciate any upvotes. Not because I'm an upvote addicted poster, but simply because it's more likely that a Rioter see's this and is able to comment if this post gets more attention
