A point or two about new champion releases

Before i make my point, this also goes for vgu's and reworks.

Disable them in ranked for the first week or two weeks after release. Make them immune to bans in normals for the same duration

Reason why is simple really. It's rather ridiculous being forced to ban a champion to prevent your teammate from first timing and feeding in a ranked game, considering only a very minor amount of players have access to pbe, it isn't illogical to assume someone would be picking it for the first time. Yes people are stupid enough to actually first time a champion in a ranked game.

Now for the same reason a new champion is banned in ranked they also get banned in normals, mainly to prevent someone on your team from taking it for the first time and feed out their arse. But normals are the spot for learning new champions So it is rather ridiculous to have a new champion being 100% ban status after release.

People want to learn the champion and he is being banned because people want to learn him, like why is that allowed???? Let people learn the champ playing him and vs him so they wont first time and feed in ranked games up until up to 3-4 months after release simply because they otherwise can't ever get their hands on the champion.

I agree on the ranked part, but you can do blind pick normals and use the champ. Making them immune to bans in draft normal could lead to some terrible games if the new champion is actually really strong on release
