What's Vayne's strong point?

Assuming that people call Vayne the best ADC at the moment, at least for soloQ, and one of the best carries late game, it makes me think what part of her kit is actually so devastating. And then, it hit me. What does she do different than any other ADC in the game? Self protection.

She already has a short dash that can dodge skillshots on a fairly low cooldown. She already has a knockback that can make her push away divers and even stun them. These two abilities are already strong enough to make her safe during a teamfight late game. Add to that the core item PD that protects her even more + possible support from her team, it's already insane defensive power.

But, the biggest thing is her invisibility, that, as of the removal of Pinks patch, cannot be be negated. I believe this is the true breaking point. You start the team fight, and most of the times, you can't to catch out the ADC, based on target prioritization. Apart from possible Q / E safety as mentioned above, let's assume she actually does get locked down and the enemy wants to go hard on her. She can use her Q once the CC on her is over, kite around / away for 1 second, while basically becoming immune to non AoE damage, and then the enemy is forced to focus someone else, so that they don't waste DPS. During that 1 second, Vayne resurfaces in a unknown position, able to DPS for free, assuming the main engage is over and she can now peel and kite away more efficiently.

The fact that during that one second, you don't know where she's gonna go, so you can't really follow her is a problem, and she can use that like 4-5 times during her ultimate. Many champions have repositions, like Lucian, Ezreal, Caitlyn, but you know where they are gonna go and can still go ahead and follow or damage them. Can't do that against Vayne because you can't know where she's going.

I believe the rest of her kit is good. W for tankbusting is fine, Q damage MIGHT be a bit over the top, E is fine, ult numbers are fine. I believe what truly makes her so broken late game is her ability to stay safe based on her kit, items and support.

Wait, since when was Vayne deemed the strongest ADC atm?

Her strong point is her outplay potential and tank shredding W

True stealth on R and self peel Q + E

She scales quite well with attack speed and already has W for tank busting. So not as reliable on that 3rd / 4th item LW when the situation calls for it on other ADCs like Cait.

She can probably get away with building a GA instead of LW on 4th item if the situation is right. But obviously LW is better, since any tank will have some armor in their build.

Someone in Challenger is doing well with Kog right now too though. Same situation, scales well with attack speed, and has a nasty W tank shred. But tops out at 710 range lvl 9 and also build diversity is... diverse. Wits > Guinsoo > Botrk > Frozen mallet

Only problem is that, Vayne is a little more forgiving with positioning, since she has low cd Q / stealth / E. Where as Kog, you really have to watch yourself, but you're not as up close and personal as Vayne with your 710 range.

It's a kind of nice to have the early MR from wits end too, since most supports nowadays are burst ap. Zyra, Malz, Brand, even Lux Vel.

The reason Vayne isn't S tier, is because the current S tier champions either beat her or have a more reliable stance on team fighting.

So far, I think Cait / Jhin can beat her in lane. Unless you play in Gold level, then nothing is really a counter, if you can abuse how naive the players are.

Well vayne w is her selling point. It's what allowed her to murder tanks because % max Heath true damage. She is also the classic 1v5 champion. She's infamous for getting 1v5 pentakills and people watching double lift highlights then they see the 1v5 then they try that on their last game before demotion and throw the match. The 1 second invisibility is annoying if your an auto attacker because it fucks with your rightclicks. Also all vayne mains are salty af. These are the 3 saltiest mains, vayne, yasuo, and riven. She has good kiting and disengage . You are practically useless early because yyou are thee glass cannon. You have shit range compared to most adc's and you will be absolutely assessed if they have a high damage mage as a support. This includes zyra, brand, vel'koz, Veigar, lux, etc. They will make the lanning phase hell.

the best ADC at the moment is Caitlynn, Vayne is considered OP in the right hands but more often than not the players mechanics are bad and she gets insta ribbed, if the said player has good mechanics then your in for a very painful time.

3 Best ADCs atm areJhin, Vayne and Twitch. Caitlyn comes in as a close 4th. Vayne is the best, but Caitlyn naturally beats Vayne.\

Coupled with her kit being quite solid with plenty levels of Objective control, she seems to be very strong. When in reality she just sticks out as a perfect counter to the ADCs that are strong. The reason why Caitlyn hasn't been as much as love tapped from nerfs is the same reason as to why Zac was never nerfed. It's moreso the meta benefitting them then the champion being too strong.

Highly accessible burst, high kiting potential, reliable disengage with E, lots of bonus MS when running towards a target, invisibility with her ult, silver bolts shred % health damage. She's a champion who basically causes melee champions to cry because she renders them as virtually useless as Kallista.

Vayne's strong point is, absolutely no matter WHAT happens early game, around 25 -30 minutes into the game, she begins to 3 hit everything, tanks, baron, towers, its game over, CC her and you MAY have a chance.
