Since you gut the XP on the raptors

You really should adjust the location of the camps. Switch raptors and wolves.

Gromp and wolves are easy to take regardless of champ, Krugs and raptors are easier for AoE Champs.

You'll put the single monster camp with the one that #deletes Champs that don't have good AoE.

You'll have wolves and Krugs that fall in between the above difficulty.

This will balance the difficulty of the camps among the entirety of the jungle and opens up better routes along with not forcing some junglers to feel required to stay away from an extremely vulnerable location for a small mid roam.

I was gonna make this post eventually but you beat me to it. Having two long clear camps on the same side of the jungle is not a good idea.

It really kills single target champions. As a Shaco main, I can't even do raptors without smite, full health, and everything off cd.

I can easily be melted to about a quarter health and if any enemy roamed or had sight I'm a free kill. I don't even bother to do the camp unless I have vision of mid and enemy jungler.

That's why many just ignore it on the first clear. That's also why riot is trying to get people to go krugs.

Yeah, I do Krugs pretty often since for Shaco it's good to do when you have lengthy cool downs. I'm not sure why they say Krugs is a time investment, I'd say doing raptors and getting melted to where you have to back is a much larger time investment.

taking nid against raptors is pretty easy. going against krugs takes a long time, you have to wait for them to split and even late game it takes forever to clear them.

This is all in Riot's attempt to diversify the Jungle pool, with the general idea that the raptor camp would be the best option for a more magier Jungler. (The risky part about that is, raptor camp is closest to the mid lane, making it a target for counterjungling.)

Incidentally, you know who Krug's sucks for? Ivern, because his friend of the forest passive doesn't apply to mini krugs that would otherwise spawn afterward. (or rather they don't spawn) Over all, Riot is trying to make it so that the optimal jungle rout isn't uniform for all Junglers.

The jungle was already pretty diverse, the problem with raptors though is that the risk/reward isn't even close. Unless you're a champ that can pop the small ones very quickly it's not worth it, and those that can pop them quickly, aren't hindered by the other camps

One issue. You can't walk through where the current wolf camp is when you have sunfire.

Why don't they (Riot) negate any damage done gunfire cape to jungle camps until the player actually initiates combat. It would solve such an annoying problem in such a simple manner. Same goes for dragon, although that doesn't happen as much. But when it does.... That dragon is so annoying to shrug off once you initiate.

It does on cinder hulk.
