The problem with Lux still isn't the fact that she can kill you

It's the fact that she's got better harass than most mid champions on top of that amazing kill potential, and none of it has any long-term cost. You are supposed to commit to high risk to get high rewards, but Lux can play in an extremely low risk manner by throwing snares from 2k range until one hit and you die.

Not even mentioning her support tier utility combined with all that damage on the same kit, riot gutted support's damage because of their utility, but gets to keep both for some reason.

They should just remove the thunderlords proc off her passive and the utility slow from her E. With her softer CC removed she will be a lot more risky.

Or reduce the passive duration, you're zoned for 6 seconds if you get hit by her E (and you're going to get hit because it's almost impossible to dodge).

I dunno about this OP. Lux is out ranged by Zed, she is out damaged and out cc'd by brand, she looses to a well played velkoz, fizz, diana, etc. She only has 2 damaging abilities besides her ult. A goodportion of her early game damage is tied to an auto attack. I know the E spam can suck but it's not something that other champs can not do. When Lux is doing really well I find it is largely due to the teams jungler either not knowing how to gank mid or her jungler baby sitting her lane.

I think you just need to pick better.

She has some high manacosts... Also if you miss the binding, you die vs anyone who can jump on you.

You have to compare Lux to Morgana, Lulu, Orianna and Karma. Soraka and Janna are almost entirely Utility, so its not a fair comparison.

Janna max charge tornado used to do the almost the same damage of a max range nidalee spear. Soraka's old Q used to be spamable with a decent ratio. Both could solo lane easily (both were cancer though).
