I take back every thread I made about Voli

I finally figured out how to play him and damn is he strong.

Took me a ton of losses to figure it out but now playing him actually feels viable and not a total hindrance to my team.

Basically his damage is sufficient with base stats alone. Don’t even bother with Titanic Hydra either. Literally just go full tank but rush Righteous Glory.

These are the key ingredients:

Aftershock Ingenius Hunter

Item Build:

-> (any version of the jg item) -> -> -> -> + -> (literally last item, cuz you don’t need damage at all until the end of end game)

Voli is a terrible tank cuz he has 0 peel outside Q but he shreds through enemies with so much base damage that they can’t afford to simply walk past him.

RG+Ingenius lets you gank reliably more often and Aftershock + tank build lets you sit there longer and be alive long enough to execute people with that ridiculous full tank W bite.

I’ve tried celerity+waterwalking, relentless hunter, a bunch of inspiration stuff and a ton of keystones (phase, grasp, pta, SS, glacial) but literally nothing even came close to performing how this specific setup does. Same for items.
