Just lost a top lane because the jungler literally stood in the bush for 2 minutes

You might need to rethink your balance Riot if a jungler can invest so much time not getting exp/gold.

Just saying.

pretty sure he's stealing some exp from his top laner in that case

Not the lane bushes, the river ones. Had them warded so knew he was there.

He just stood there until their Tryndamere levelled long enough to be able to handle the pressure, then left.

It was a lost game anyway, due to our bottom feeding like crazy, but losing the small window that you have to exploit Tryndamere so easily as a jungler just standing there long enough is retarded.

Riot isn't going to balance the game for people who don't know how to jungle. That makes the game uninteresting for people who invest the time to learn and do it right.

Anyone who was good at jungle could return pressure on the idiot who stood still for 2 minutes. Gank other lanes, counterjungle, secure buffs, secure objectives, etc.

Too bad our Ivern was busy collecting daisies, that's true.

But I still don't think just standing there is something that should be rewarded so heavily.

There is a difference between being rewarded and being punished.

Won't disagree on semantics.

His teammate got rewarded, he himself didn't suffer any meaningful penalty.

that's because your jungler didn't punish him. you had a bad teammate, none of this has to do with riot.

No, not really.

When lanes are so terrible to play in nowadays that even being zoned from a few waves means you have lost it, everything has to do with Riot.

This wasn't the case in older seasons and it's getting annoying how pre-determined fighting with other champions often is.

Being at the mercy of my jungler just because their jungler passed by is pure nonsense.

you are a being of highly questionable intelligence.

Oh well, thank you, what a meaningful contribution.

I probably am if I'm expecting the jungler meta to stop.
