"don't ban taliyah plz, i main her"
No.
No.
but, but I do main her http://s32.postimg.org/8z5yy7whw/mastery.jpg
how the fuck? oh pbe account
With that much RP and IP, yeah, it's pbe account. Also note the date.

PBE is easy mode... shouldn't count, anyone with a brain can get a high win rate on PBE. People are just messing around...
Has flash backs of the games where people argue about the PBE not being a shit fest of trolls and AFKs*
Umm...no, you're wrong man, just flat out wrong. People have a "When in Rome" logic about the PBE but still play just as if not harder then on line because they don't want to get kicked off.
And add in that there are few enough players / main acct MMR don't take effect- Bronzie PBE players can easily get matched with Diamonds and Challengers.
It doesn't matter. The fact is, they poured a ton of time into the champ. If they feel comfortable taking her into ranked, they should be perfectly able to bring her in.
You shouldn't be banning her just because she's new, anyway. If you don't let her into the games you'll never get a grip on how to deal wither her--and Riot won't get as clear a picture of how UP/OP she is. You're better off just letting her through and learning from what you see. Perma-banning new champions is just a patch fix that doesn't actually solve any problems, and if you really belong in your elo they won't be able to impact you any more than an older OP champ emerging and going unbanned.

you can't deal with a day one taliyah player feeding on your team because they wanted to pick them because they are new
this has nothing to do with banning taliyah from the enemy
heck, I have seen instances of players banning her because they can't play her, the childish... "if i can't, nobody can"

this didn't by any chance happen in silver did it.
Was up against a Taliyah in Platinum Ranked. Watching her miss all her combos and just generally move about awkwardly trying to get a grip on her kit was... painful.
More for her than for me, though, I ended 11/0/7.
Where Ranked is concerned, you should ban Taliyah to get rid of Day 1 Taliyah "mains", but let people play it in Normals.
This, to this very day, is my vayne logic.
I refuse to have a vayne on my team if there is anything I can do about it
lol your loss
My personal logic is that I can do my best to counterplay a strong pick. That way, if I lose, I can look at what I did wrong.
But if someone on my team picks vayne into lucian and dies 4+ times in lane, that is not something I can look at and find personal error to correct.
vayne counters lucian...
Nothing counters lucian
I seriously doubt that vayne counters lucian, as the #1 counter to vayne is powerful earlygame
She's one of the only adcs that can avoid his Qs and stop his ult. he also cant 1v1 her past lvl 6. as long as you're not 0/4 in 6 minutes you'll be fine.
She also outscales the shit out of him. Don't get me wrong you can play the matchup terribly and feed, but she does still counter him. you just have to play well.
I agree that vayne outscales lucian, but given how much lucian benefits from current adc items (ls on merc scim saves him an item +es reav / pd is a very powerful combo on him) i dont think the margin is as wide as you think.
Seeing as lucian is a hugely powerful pick atm, we would be seeing much more vayne as a result if your claims are even remotely valid. But since we are not, logic dictates that vayne is in fact quite a mediocre / poor answer to lucian
In Ranked, I agree with this. But why ban it in normals? The whole reason for normals is to practice. In terms of a new champion, it's a win-win. I know people might feed, but we have to start somewhere, right?
It's implied that he means ranked. No one really cares in normals and new champs don't get banned unless they're a broken release.
Never ban the new champion. Just don't. 80% of the people online are there to try the new champion, banning the champ makes it so you cannot learn how to play against or with them, it slows down the process of Riot able to understand what is wrong with a champion to balance it, and it's just a dick move.
Had a teammate ban her because I had her as Pick Intent, as support. He was our ADC. It was norms, so I decided to pick another off-meta support (Twisted Fate), which only set him off a bit harder. Our top laner ended up picking Vayne and swapping roles with them. We did well in lane, and still pulled out the win.
My computer runs on salt. It is proven science that salt is easily harvested by banning new champions.
Sorry guys, I've just been getting so distracted lately. But I'm here to begin farming upvotes!
Go back to your lane Nasus!
The funny thing is that i am lvl5 five wither her on PBE and have quite a few games as her, she is one of my mains.
PBE bro, some people actually do master those champions before they release.
I'm 1-0 with her in ranked so far.

You don't say 1-0, you say 100% win rate....
Just so you know, you CAN be banned for banning ally player's pick intent. And it's considered "griefing" and griefing bans are always permanent, even with no prior warnings.
Hope so, but I doubt anyone was ever banned for it.

Exclusively, probably not. But I have seen it used as evidence against people if they do anything else that deserves a ban.
Can't be banned for banning another player's pick because there's no way to prove it was done maliciously (unless you're dumb enough to say it in chat).
Otherwise it can be played off as not wanting the enemy team to get said champ, and even not wanting a champ on your team is enough to avoid a ban.

Wait, you can? That's bullshit. Just because my last pick wants malzahar doesn't mean I won't nam malzahar. And I could be banned for that?
And don't tell me to trade, very few people trade. They won't coordinate it.

Yup. If I were you I'd stop banning Malzahar when allies pick intent it. Especially if you ever tilt and rage, since if you get flagged for raging they're going to see that you were banning pick intent too.
So what if the enemy gets the broken champ because my last pick ally pick intended it? Can I report them for griefing for not allowing me to ban it?

idk ask Riot
Intentionally screwing your team over in ranked can also be considered Griefing.
Don't ban the champ in normals, that's being rude. In ranked, it's too early for people to understand how she works. and only puts your team at a disadvantage.

Playing champions you're bad at isn't against the rules according to Riot.
It's not against the rules, it's against common sense. Hopefully we know that, but it seems most of us don't.
Alright then how about this.
Why would you take a champion you have no clue how to play into a ranked setting with titles on the line knowing full well this can cost your team the game.
Even without Riot's step in, use common sense here. Again, play it in normals. I don't care about you doing it in normals since nothing's lost. Don't do it in people's ranked games. Imagine that shit costing someone their promo's. That'd be a good way to tilt them.
Haha 5 minutes maining
see its people like you is why no one can actually learn difficult champions. fuck you.
See, you say "learn" though. People who say they "main" are implying they already have learned to play her to such an extent they'll actually be good at her.
