As much as I love Maokai's Twisted Advance

It's hilariously scary for the enemy. Teemo did his sprint spell thing and I twisted advanced him. Just as I was about to connect, he flashed.

I watched the stopping animation happen as he flashed, but since I never actually connected the spell, I kept going. THEN rooted him.

The reason I brought this up was because I was wondering if this was meant to be the way Maokai's spell should work.

It's such a funny spell. Maokai

Pretty much every targeted dash in the game follows Flash.

I think flash should provide like 50 - 100 bonus armor if they're targeted dash then. That's incredibly OP to get root-dashed even after you pop Flash.

My whole team was on that Teemo and he flashed away from a lot of skillshots but ended up dying anyways because I rooted his sorry soul.

Ignoring the fact that Armor doesn't reduce Magic Damage...are you high? It's a feature of the game. You don't get away from targeted dashes. That's like saying Flash should dodge targeted stuns. Or even a Veigar ult. I mean, he flashed, he should be completely safe, it's not like Flash is chosen in literally every game by every champion already.

All I said was to give them a tiny shield- like the one runic blessing gives you. And maybe only apply this effect if you get distortion? Add the tiny shield bonus to all of the distortion SS's.

I didn't mean armor as in the armor you get from building items. Sorry for misleading you. And no I just meant whenever you get rooted via dash roots. (Which I think are only a few of those.)

Targeted dashes/blinks

Akali Alistar Azir Braum Diana Elise Fiora Fizz Irelia JarvanIV Jax Jayce Katarina LeeSin Maokai MasterYi Nocturne Pantheon Poppy Quinn Rengar Talon Vi Urgot Warwick MonkeyKing XinZhao Yasuo Zed

Of these, champions, the ones that I have seen follow a target through Flash are Fiora's R, Lee Sin's Q, Maokai's W, Master Yi's Q, Nocturne's R, Poppy's E, Vi's R and Zed's R.

Azir's technically can't follow a target via Flash, as his targets are his sand soldiers, but I've seen one use his E to follow a soldier dashing via Q.

I wonder if Lee Sin's W could follow a flashing ally?

Poppy doesn't follow.

I saw it happen. I didn't say when I saw it happen.

I have been playing the game for years, so it's entirely possible that it was an old bug when it happened.

Just sharing my experience with the subject.

They should follow recalls too, but Riot considers it a *bug *when that happens.

Screw that; it's hilarious to watch someone go flying into the fountain. Leave it in.
