Why don't all summoner spells "scale"?

Flash distance, teleport's cast time, ghost movement speed modifyer.

It would help out in balancing summoner spells, maybe even add more flare to the current team compositions.

Also, why doesn't crowd control effects that slow movement speed, effect the distance players using escape abilities? It would make "all in" champs or immobile champs fit into the current meta if they could keep up (meaning players don't just F flash out and laugh as they kite you) kind of play?

SO you want to unbalance the game even more by basically makeing summoner spells in early game almost useless? AND make escape abilities even more useless by making them weaker while affected by slows? No. Just no. Delete this post, please?

How would Flash scaling work? Seems like it'd either be useless at low levels or absolutely busted at cap.

Plus, scaling Summoner spells would further exacerbate the power level differences between Supports and other roles.

Stuff like heal, smite and ignite scale because their effectiveness depends on you or your opponent's health. For example, if ignite was just a flat 240, it would be broken early game and take out almost half of someone's HP, and pretty lame late game where it barely tickles and is really only useful for Grievous Wounds. Something like Barrier would be even worse, mitigating about half an auto attack while providing no other beneficial effects. It only makes sense that these sorts of spells scale.

Teleport, ghost and flash have technically the same effect (perhaps not always the same impact). Flash will always get you X distance. You can use it to make plays at any point, like flash pulling someone as Blitzcrank. Given the nature of the spell, its usefulness is pretty much the same from early to late game (arguably better late game where a good flash play can turn a fight). It doesn't need scaling to maintain its utility throughout the game.

I agree, make Flash's range shorter as you level.
