A Guide to Get out of Bronze
It took me a long time to get out of bronze, but I finally did it, and here are my ways to get out of bronze.
- Play to your strengths. If you feel like you have enough mechanics to outplay bronze enough to carry a game, play champions that can hard carry using those mechanics such as Zed, Yasuo, Riven, Fizz, Lucian, etc. If you feel like you have good decision-making that can easily win a game, play champions that can capitalize off mistakes. For example, play champions like Lux, Wukong, Attrox, Blitzcrank, Janna, etc.
- Diversify your champion pool. Have as many champions in your roster than you can play and isn't shit (Ivern). For example, I main the mid lane, and I enjoy playing champions like Zed and Yasuo, but I also have Lux and Ahri to be there in case I want to play them.
- Practice. Most people in bronze claim they are god. I did as well. However, I lacked in a certain skill called carrying, and I play many ranked games, and finally got good at carrying. For example, I stay in the back or wait for the right moment and keep on dealing my damage, but this time, I deal more than I used to because I would actually live longer.
- Get good at multiple roles. Even though we have dynamic queue, you still have to be good at certain roles in case you need to swap roles, or get your secondary role.
- Remember, there's a balance between everything. What I mean by that is to balance yourself out. For example, you may usually blame yourself for your losses, but don't always do that. Otherwise, you are going to feel shit or expect too much for yourself. If you lost a game, it may be the adc who lost you the game. Yes, you made mistakes, but you weren't the main reason why you lost. In addition, you also need to balance your life out. Have some fun and play normal games. Troll with your friends if you need to. Just balance yourself out.
- Listen to pro players and their advice. Listen to someone like Pants are Dragon. He teaches you a lot about decision-making Bronze 5 This division is freelo. If you can't get out of this division quickly, then fix yourself. Bronze 4 A bit like bronze 5, but certain points of the lp mark is where you need to start adjusting or carrying harder. Like the 70 lp mark. Bronze 3 You have to start adjusting with your team a little. For example, actually try to talk out a strategy with them or start with a game plan for your team in certain points of the game. Like the late game. Bronze 2 This is where practice comes in handy, and ego does not. The players a bit better compared to the other divisions mentioned above, so you actually have to start trying to think like they do. Outpredict them. Bronze 1 You basically have accumulated the skills you need to climb out of bronze so well done, summoner.
Good luck.
