The Main Issues With AP Itemization

Only a couple of AP items are good for mid laners which means that there is a lack of choice.
AD itemization is just outright better because the items let AD champions accomplish more than AP items with AP champions, and they have more choice.
If you were to pick a team of all AP against a regular team (example: ) , you would lose no matter what, but if you picked a team of all AD, you would still have a massive chance of winning because of Black Cleaver & Last Whisper Items. This means that AD itemization and scaling is just better. This isn't right because back in s3-5, if you picked an all AD comp, you would probably lose if you didn't win early, but this isn't true now.

Once the Armor pen/shred nerfs and the armor buffs come through, it will go back to the way it should be where a full AD team will get dumpstered.

The main issue with AP itemization is that every neckbeard will crawl out of the sewers to whine incessantly about it at the drop of a pin despite it not being an actual issue.

I want an ap item thats good for assassins but not generic mages or supports please ty. ap assassins got nothing in the mage update and nothing in the assassin update like ap assassins dont exist.

the problem with ap items. riot took away some ability power from the items and gave away cd reduction and item actives/passives. But,not all ap champions can utilize these items as good as others. item 3152 is a blessing for Kennen ,but useless for Lux champions who rely on row ap took a great hit and champions with high base damages came back to mid.

I'd probably replace Ivern with or LeeSin . Ivern makes for a very different team comp style centered around "Protect the carry" Like tbh I couldn't see a team with 3 assassins and a diver getting anywhere near that Jinx. It's not exactly the most common team comp around.
