@Meddler, about your response to the question on kindred thoughts
" Right ballpark power wise. Power drops off too hard over the course of the game though which classes with intended jungle carry playstyle. Might be appropriate to shift power later as a result (get them onto more multiplicative builds with Crit perhaps as another scalar?).
Edit: Actually, arguably on the soft side in terms of power. Another possible argument for Fervor being undertuned versus Warlords."
I do not see how you can be saying that kindred is in a good spot right now. Kindreds current state in 6.22 is almost exactly in the same overall state as shyvana is now too (shyvana is actually outperforming kindred by stats actually), and the cat is already out of the bag that it was felt that shyvana was in a state that needed buffs and tweaks. Kindred is not in a good state this preseason, and is most definitely in need of some love.
Frankly the easiest way to fix that power fall off would be to revert some of the early game targeted nerfs towards kindred, since better power in their early game would improve the overall scaling and shift into late game for kindred, but I know that there will be a stubborn refusal from riot for to shift some of kindred's among the weaker early game power up even though kindred's early game power currently sits among the weaker side of the pool of jungle champions. Shifting power in the late game upward is a good alternative also but crit isn't a good way to go about it. Take twitch as a general comparison of a crit marksman who can jungle, his runaan's+IE powerspike happens later on jungle twitch than adc twitch but once that powerspike happens the power achieved generally feels not so fun for the enemy team against him. People do not like the ticking time bomb that is the zeal item + IE marksman time bomb I am sure you can see from the boards.
Considering the logical possible options that could be gone for on kindred.... One option is to have kindreds marks scale with crit. That will line up directly with the issue of the ticking crit time bomb shared with marksman, a style better shared on champs that prefer to spend more time farming which has already been said that riot wants to lean away from those style of junglers, and kindred wont be wanting to go after champs as much with such a lower early game pressure. Yes it will definitely be a buff towards kindred and increase the importance of marks but the only thing that would differentiate kindred from most of the other marksman at that point would be that they can't function in bot lane. The other option that would be logically likely is adding crit to one or more of kindred's damaging abilities. Doing that will make kindred stop caring about collecting marks since the combo of crit boosted auto's and crit boosted abilities would otherwise more than make up for it and marks would simply be icing on the cake that would be less important though. Going for the double down of doing both of mark and abilities boosted by crit is simply a bad idea, don't do it, 2 bad idea's don't make a good idea.
I going further with the previous forced route of increasing kindreds main ability scaling with mark scaling is a good idea to go with and would make kindred's possible scaling more smoother than the sudden jump from crit. Another thing that does need to be considered is adding improved AD scaling into kindred's kit which is especially better to do to better adjust kindred to the fervor change, again compared to crit the scaling for kindreds play will be more smoother than the sudden jump from the crit build option. What I would suggest going with the ideals of those ideas.
Passive/Mark of the Kindred: Each mark gives 1.25(0.01% per 2 bonus AD) Q/Dance of Arrow's: Each bolt also deals mark damage
Improving marks with bonus AD scaling will improve the lost synergy with this new fervor and allows kindred's kit to scale in a way that going pure attack speed+on hit isn't the only most efficient option to maximize kindred's damage as a carry (remember when warrior was a viable option on kindred). The idea of adding mark damage to the Q similar to how W deals mark damage too will be a straight buff to kindred's scaling. Both options give kindred a smoother scaling over the course of the game.
Lets not leave the death duo in the grave they are in right now.
