Why does Xayah feel so strong compared to Kalista

I've played a lot of Kalista games and she is by far my top ADC. I just started playing Xayah yesterday and her playstyle is so similar to kalista but she can absolutely shred and doesn't even need bladecaller to kill you either.

Not saying Xayah is OP, tbh she is fun as hell and has clear weaknesses, but why is her damage so high both early and late compared to Kalista? I know Kalista gets mobility but Xayah still has a lot of ways to be mobile and peel for herself to, I mean she has a root as well.

Crit, better aoe, a damaging ult, can do damage without having to be by support at all times, etc.
