How do you overcome the fear of losing?

Climbing faster means playing more games each day, however, I am always afraid I will lose which is why I stop playing after I win. How can I overcome the fear of losing?

Play for fun, not for win

Play champions you'll have fun with doesn't matter you win or lose. For example teemo is super fun. I'ts funny to see ppl step on shrooms doesn't matter if you are winning or losing.

Some ideas:

  1. Change the type of champion you are playing - e.g., a riskier assassin vs. a low-risk tank, etc. Play support for a bit - where you stop caring about the results and are able to see a bit more of the macro game.

  2. Focus on your own progress inside the game - instead of caring about the result. Start treating your own statistics as building points instead of whether the team wins or loses. (Doesn't mean you don't play to win, but instead look at means of trying to improve your own performance inside the game - and how you can contribute better to the team.)

  3. If you do have a game which starts to go downhill, then look at means of shoring up your team. Sometimes, it takes a few rebound games before you overcome the fear of losing. Or at least, losing as much.

You realise it's a game and by the end of the day it doesn't matter. It's for enjoyment.

Climbing faster means playing more games each day,

False. Climbing faster means less games per day because the queue times go up.

Bronze/silver/gold queues are about 1 minute because this is where most of the player base is and it's easier to find games because more people. The higher elo you are the less people there are to play against/with so it takes longer to find people in your mmr range (challenger queues take 5-30minutes)

um yea but hes talking about climbing not being at the the highest elos and hes silver. Even still to get more lp you have to win more which means play more.
