If I'm diamond one, and my teammates are either diamond 3 or diamond 4, why am I the one getting auto filled to a role I never play? Like, matchmaking becomes really unfair, when the one guy who is the highest elo gets autofilled. Because then the other teammates are getting matched against people out of their league, but the person who's supposed to carry according to matchmaking is getting autofilled.

TheGrot2 votesAutofill only applies to people at high elo, and it along with matchmaking is a problem for pretty much everyone around diamond 1 right now. The fact that diamond 1 players can get mixed into a diamond 4 game is not healthy. The skill gap between those divisions is massive.

I looked in your history and saw one where there was a Master on a Dia 4 team, do you think they really cared that much? You're all at the tip top of the elo ladder, there shouldn't be an issue.

I am good player. As result of auto-fill, my team is junk. My opponents are junk, the game is junk.
Bare in mind: rank is relative. Diamond 1 sees diamond 4 as junk. Just as you, if you have me on your team, are pissed at having a junk support.

Not really. I looked passed the actual rank. If someone is bad they are just bad, has nothing to do with the ranking. They could be slightly higher and still be something bad. You're S5, I'm S3, yeah we'd be matched together (if on the same server of course) and that's something I'm used too.
If I were pissed at having a bad support, something would be wrong with the match itself cause I'm a support main so tend to do that more often then anything XD

It probably doesn't.
Even doing that one autofill does not equal another.
As for the thread it probably doesn't consider MMR at all. I bet autofill only thinks to lighten the most popular role unto the one needed.
