how much lifesteal would it take 'in theory ofc' to counter grievous wounds.
title: at what point you can heal efficently still with wounds on you.

gwp = grievous wounds percentage
You would need to have 1 / (1 - gwp/100) times more lifesteal when affected by a given gwp to reach your previous level of sustain.
?.... im confused here(if im reading right) its 1 divided by (1- grievous/100) = the times more lifesteal it would take to null it .
lets say i have 30% lifesteal with wounds on it but it feels like im healing nothing since you know thats where it counters healing due to that effect. how much lifesteal would it take to outscale that heal reduction.

You don’t. Because it’s a %drain on your healing.

Let's say you have 30% lifesteal. Deal 100 damage, gain 30 health. You would like to know how much lifesteal % you need to have in order to still gain 30 health with GW applied. GW now comes in various strengths, so let's say it's the standard 40% healing reduction.
30% lifesteal multiplied by 1 / (1 - 40/100) 30 times 1 / (60/100) 30 divided by (60/100) 30 multiplied by 100/60 3000/60 50
So you would need 50% lifesteal when affected by a 40% GW effect to deal 100 damage and gain 30 health.
in other words it takes away alot of 'stat money' thats basically its effect. thats interesting math though
