Sion and Gnar have some of the lowest base health at level 18.

The bonus HP from Mega Gnar and Sion's W are useless! These passives just bring you up to scratch with other champs, a small percentage of the time. Riot is making these "strengths" of champions actually weaknesses for bullshit "compensation".

Sion's W passive stacks well enough that he becomes a monster tank late game. Having low base health at level 18 and then having a bonus 600-1000 health due to your W passive = who gives a fuck.

And Gnar needs something to hold him down and discourage from being a glass cannon top laner. Imagine if Gnar was tanky AND could deal more %hp damage than Vayne in half the time, and then turn into a pseudo-tank with 2 stuns and a ranged aoe slow. >_>

I thought we had moved past this. Ugh...

Sion gains an incredibly large amount of health from his passive, gaining on average 20 or 30 max health per team fight plus 2 for every minion he has killed. With his incredible wave clear and map mobility, he will undoubtably have over 400 extra health by end game, increasing his health excluding other bonuses to around 2200. Including runes and masteries, this adds up to around 2420 or so health without any items, achieving on average 400 more health than other champions. This is further increased if Sion farms large monsters and/or does successful in the game, giving him around 100 or so more health.

Gnar's health bonus is NEVER meant to be a way for him to have more health than others (although he does, Mega Gnar having the highest health per level in the game), instead being an adjustment to his base stats to better suit the kit he is switching to. Also, Gnar's bonus health can severely save you by transforming in near death situations.

Jungle Sion stacks health so fast he didn't really need Juggernaut. Lane Sion can afford to stack flat resist because he's slowly accumulating life as well (hello Frozen Heart first item)

Sion has less max BASE Hp because he trades a chunkier HP gain per level with a smooth curve of life gain over time thanks to his Soul Furnace. And Sion as a fighter/tank should have a lot of farm. I try to get up to 200 CS ASAP because including large monsters and minions, champs, etc that can be as much as 700 HP.

My record in one game was about 1600 hp from passive. 2 Warmogs worth of life for free. (Of course the enemy team just happened to have an Elise who got WoTA so.... Yeah THAT was frustrating to "fight" - read die - against.)
