Why is Corki's ult thinner than a Nidalee spear?

Several times I'll shoot at a big minion wave and it'll go between all of them and not explode. I spear that thing is like 10 units wide.

And then I was versus a Kalista so I didn't land a single one on her the entire game.

I'd assume they made it a little harder to land because it's more spammable and does AoE damage on impact

This, really. Corki can store 7 charges of his ultimate, and fire it every 2 seconds, all shots dealing some measure of AOE damage and a "Big One" significantly more than that. Also the missiles are significantly faster than Nid's spears.

Yeah, but then Corkis rockets deal far less damage to single target unless he builds pure AP (cause AD ratio is kind of bad + it's easier to stack AP).

So in the end Nidalees' spears outclass Corkis R by a mile

It's also much faster and easier to hit/harder to dodge when aimed properly.

Santorin would like a word with you.

a narrow hitbox has advantages and disadvantages. it can be harder to hit a champion directly, but on the other hand its easier to sneak a skillshot through between minions to poke at your opponent.

mundo cleavers do this very well for example. i got kills in hte past by throwing cleavers exactly through 2 minions who were sitting close together, with my opponent thinking he was safe behind them.

I always thought the cleaver hitbox was big as shit, or maybe my aim is just bad. They always felt so...fat to throw.

Corki's ultimate is also a great deal quicker and longer ranged than many skillshots, so... its fine.a

against kalista, your primary weapon is your Q because it isn't a projectile (also, if they're a scripter, nothing will hit them anyway) and is less easy to see coming

then if they're weak after constant poke damage, you can engage with W and E for quite a large amount of damage, especially if your Q is up again

R is more a gimmick to poke in team fights or fleeing enemies (which kalista isn't because she all ins most of the time)

Because he can shot it every second and does AoE dmg, while the spear does single target dmg so it must a bit thick, Kalista Q spear is as thin as Corki rockets also..

how do you miss with one of the fastest skillshots in the game? It travels so quickly it might as well be a laser.

Durzaka1 votes

Because it has a 2 second cooldown and is AoE.

Because it's AOE and you can fire 3 at once? And you are AD?

But then she can heal. Oh well, apple and orange. Ok, move on.

I'm still upset that they removed his stealth-reveal.

They're about the same width, actually. It's just that Nid's Q is a bit longer.
