Support and why 85% of the player base hates it

So I may have caused the loss on my team yesterday as taric lol . Half my team died because they kept running away from my heals shield and ult . This is after I waisted flash and other spells every single time to try and get to them . So I just got tired of it and played base defense because why bother trying when they would rather feed . Hmm I flashed to you and my ult is coming down and you hourglass .......smooth . Not one time you did it but 3 times you did it and other people ran away from me no stop and burning flash to get to you . Wonder why people hate supporting this is why, I do my part but my team intent feeds as I call it . What impact did I have ohh wait none because they would rather feed while I ping them to stop running , such is life from this boring asss unfun least impactful role

You can always change to a new role if you're not having fun in support anymore. It's never been about what you can't save but about what you can. It's still very impactful and very fun to most support mains

Did you spam ping them or spew anger in chat? I'm no expert, but in my experience when a player does this sort of thing everyone stops listening to them.

I agree. Why the hell do i have to chase ur ass everywhere. Come find me now and then if you need supp, i can only help so much. Problem is that since as a support you are meant to save allies and if they themselves deny that then you as a support have literally contributed nothing to the team. Feelsbadman

key tip with taric his w can apply ult to anybody that you are linked to secondly if you stun the enemy that people are running from they will go to attack the stun victim even if your ally is a 50 hp melee champ but just keep in mind his ult charge time is just a second in the pbe

Taric isn't really a...starter support. He takes a bit of finesse.
