What's with all the delusional posts about mages not getting nerfed?

ap itemization nerfed across the board magic resist item buffed across the board hybrid damage magic resist items buffed across the board

you'd think it oughta be unanimous that this is a patch buffs ad champs heavily and nerfs ap champions heavily - whether or not it's warranted is another discussion but there shouldn't be a debate on the direction of this patch

I trust that riot's goal is to balance the two, and that leveling out the optimization is a path to a better end. I'd also like to point out that IE lost 20 AD, even if new and more powerful AD items were introduced.

But yes. I agree that AP items got nerfed and MR got buffed. Still, I do see where there can be debate, and I think that it could be because mage items were stronger than they "should" be.

I trust that Riot's goal is to pander to the ADCs and make money.

^ That is literally all in Riot I trust.

personally i find the pd + maw + scimitar buffs to be over the top in terms of how far riot is going

these are changes that should have been introduced gradually if and when additional changes were warranted
