If Sion can mindlessly use his spells off cooldown and never run out of mana and always able to use his spells, then his spells cost way too little. He should HAVE to buy multiple mana items in order to upkeep spam, not do it at the start of the game and still do it even with no mana items built, this is his biggest balance problem is the fact that he has no meaningful mana costs.

Stacona1 votesThey could. They would need to do testing to see if he needs a compensation buff for a huge mana cost nerf, but right now his costs are way too low and makes him like a resourceless champion rather than a mana champion, that is when you know the costs are way too low.
Malphite before Frozen Heart / Iceborne Gauntlet and Abyssal Mask goes out of mana after like 2.5 spell rotations with a Doran's Ring for more mana regen. He needs mana items to upkeep his spam while Sion not having mana does not matter cause he can still use his spells they are so low.
