My problem with the In-Game currency.

Alright, my problem with the BE system, and the old IP system was how dreadfully long it takes to earn enough to purchase a 6300 Champ. Even before with the old IP system, it would take over a days worth of playing just to get 6300 IP I'm lazy, so here are the calculations that someone did on the IP system.

Now, lets start calculating the time it takes to earn 6300 BE to get a champion. All of these calculations are done based on levels past 30, with no FWoTD or XP boosts taken into consideration. All games are normals, and not RGM. Over 14 games, I won 8, and lost 6. In total, it took 436.17min to play those games. That's 7.27 hours. In that time spent I earned 2,763 XP. That's just barely enough to level up once.

**2,763 xp / 14 games is 197 xp per game. 7.27 hours / 14 games is 30 minutes a game 2,500 xp per level / 197 xp is 12-13 games per level ** Now, lets just assumue that you receive 1000 BE from each level up based of the champion boxes you get. That means that you will have to level up 7 times just to get 1 6300 champ.

1000 BE per level / 12-13 games per level is 77-83 BE per game, quite a bit less than before with the old IP system 7 levels * 12-13 games per level is between 84-91 games. 6 hours * 7 level ups is 42 hours of game play. That is even more than when we had IP.

Now, if we were to add FWoTD in the mix you would level up a lot faster, however, if you played 1 game a day, and each of those was a win, you'd still need 4-5 days to level up once. However each person has about a 50% win rate, so lets make it 2 games a day, 1 win, 1 loss. Thats about an hour a day, and you'd still need about 4 days to level up once.

Now, Riot is adding 50 BE to the FWoTD, however, they're lowering the amount of XP gained from it from 575, to 400. Thats almost 200 XP lost, which is essentially an entire game, which is 30 minutes lost.

I feel completely lied by Riot, who claimed this new system would be faster than the old IP system. And it is, if you only played 2 games a day, with at least 1 being a FWoTD, and you got the champ you wanted from loot boxes (good luck with that) to purchase at a discounted rate (AKA if you're in a simulation). This new system doesn't affect people who already own all the champions. But for me at least, I still have 51 champs to purchase, which equates to 241,050 BE, which would require me to level up 241 times, as long as I received at least 1000 BE from each level up. Then you have new players, who will have the entire lineup of champions to purchase when the hit level 30. New Players need to reach Level 322 to get all current champions

My suggestion, keep FWoTD as it is, giving players 575 xp. However, make it so that on each loss you get 75 BE, and on each win you get 100 BE. That way the grind doesn't feel pointless in between levels, and then when you do level up you feel accomplished for it.
