How is “just roam to other lanes” considered adequate counterplay?

You can’t “out play” anymore because so many champions lose lanes by default.
For example. Xerath into zed is a lost lane for xerath Any melee into urgot is instantly lost Any champion other than current ops for adc is instantly lost.
I shouldn’t lose to a zed who misses his q, presses r, spins l, autos and ignites when he misses the only part of his kit that has any real counterplay.
You shouldn’t lose to a urgot who misses his q and his fear. But you consistently do.
You shouldn’t lose to a graves who can’t land his q. But most champions do.
Don’t go near them is not counterplay. That the exact opposite of it. That’s saying, you have no options with them. Don’t even try.

If you can't get fed on your lane you try to get you and others fed in their lanes so there are more ppl fed in order to reach said Nexus.
