Just felt the need to point out that maybe you didnt die or lose a game due to factors outside of your control. Maybe, just maybe your opponents played better than you. Plus maybe you made some mistakes? Maybe you didnt play as well as you could have?
- Maybe your jungler can't gank because your opponent is warding better than you
- Maybe your jungler can't gank because your opponent is playing safer when they don't have vision
- Maybe you died or lost that trade because you stayed in range of getting engaged on after you wasted cooldowns last hitting minions.
- Maybe you died because you dont understand the lane match up as well as your opponent.
- Maybe you stuck around when you were too low against a burst heavy champion.
- Maybe you pushed too far up in your lane
- Maybe you shoudnt have stayed with no mana
- Maybe you should have just waited by tower for the lane to push back to you
- Maybe you didnt ward enough
- Maybe you could have helped that losing lane
- Maybe you didnt play safe enough
- Maybe you failed to realize your opponent has a stronger early game than you.
- Maybe you could have CSed better
- Maybe you wiffed your skill shots
- Maybe you could have roamed
- Maybe you shouldnt have chased that kill or picked that fight
- Maybe you could have played that team fight better
- Maybe you could have itemized better
- Maybe you should have just given Dragon up instead of dying and still losing it
Shit, maybe your jungler really is just afk farming, but you didn't adapt to that and played too aggressively
You know what, I'll even give you this. Maybe you did play reasonably well but just couldn't win
The point I'm trying to make is that you should never look back at a game and say "I did everything perfectly". I'm not saying that every game is winnable, but you can learn something from every game. Try to ask yourself "What did I do wrong? How could I have done that better?" instead of blaming others. Yes, I am well aware that sometimes your bot lane really is feeding a lot and it will be hard to win. When things like this happen I ask "what can I do to get my team mate back in the game?". It's not just loses either. You can do it with wins too. "How did I get my gold lead?" or "what did I do to extend my lead?"
Just watch any Challenger or LCS players' stream and you will constantly hear them saying things like "I played that so bad" or "I could have done that better" or "I shouldn't have done that". The key here is that the players at the absolute highest level are always self-critical. The absolute best of the best are always willing to analyze themselves and admit their mistakes to continually improve.
I'm not saying this mindset alone will make you Challenger, but I will say that it will make you a better player than you are currently. I'm also not saying you are going to win 100% of your games, but over time you will start winning more and losing less. You will always have to rely on team mates. That is not going to change. This isn't a 1v1 game, not will it ever be. You have to get used to that. Complaining about struggling team mates is going to get you nowhere. Everyone has bad games. Everyone has had team mates that were behind. However, not everyone adapts to the situation in the same way. Thats the difference.
