Ok I can understand silver 3s. But why silver 1 and Gold 5? They literally get fed because obviously by elo can't handle it and they carry the games. Why in my promos? I mean I play a lot of support, and it blows my mind that I have to fight golds to go from SILVER 4 to SILVER 3.

Stephenizgod3 votesHonestly it is hard to judge because Silver holds just a huge variety of players with different skill levels, some who are carried/boosted to that rank, some who are stuck because of just bad luck, some who are in the correct place. Still generally speaking something I have noticed between all ranks is lack of awareness, how to farm (something I personally need to improve on), no lane control, no idea when to split, valuing kills over objectives, and lastly no idea on how to end the game. These issues are extremely apparent throughout Bronze, Silver, and Gold (or at least Gold V to Gold III). I think the only thing a Gold player has over the Bronze or Silver is either Mechanics or Game Knowledge, one or the either, not both. If they had both i believe they would be climbing steadily out of Gold.

Think of it like this: challenger players have a high amount of skill in this game, but the population of people in challenger is very low. Even these people have a very large amount of talent, they do not shift average too much because of their small population.

i was hoping for that but he was good not the best he fucked up some times but definitely not bronze/silver

I am pretty sure right now plat 1 - gold 5 can group together.
Gold 1 - silver 5 can group.
Although somewhat rare those group rank variances are retarded and really fuck the game experience in those games.
They should keep it to 1 tier difference, aka 5 divisions instead of 2 for next season. So like gold 1 - gold 5 can group. Gold 2 -silver 1, etc. etc.

haha yea not long ago I had a plat 3 
in my gold 3 game. Our entire team was AD so we were pretty fucked to begin with..... but pretty sure his first item was

The 50% cut off is roughly silver 3 20lp.
Tbh there's no difference between silver and gold 4-5. If you are getting golds in your game they are extremely low mmr. Meaning boosted or bad.
Instead of caring about what color the border is you should look at kill participation/win rate. If those are low (under 50% kp and under 50% win rate) they are bad. Silver is a shit show I wish you the best.

DW, they have silver 4 mmr, and are obviously not better than you (or they would be playing at a higher level). Of course, you will get the occasional matchmaking fuck up, but I'm guessing you are just seeing the results of a year's worth of completely legal boosting.
