Win rates and statistics are ruining your life

Wherever you're pulling these stats up about pick and win rates, do yourself a favor and block those websites and pages. Focusing so much on these arbitrary statistics are ruining the game for you.

Threads about win rates have been breeding like rabbits and cardboard boxes for the past month and a half. From what I've read, a champion with a 42% win rate is completely unviable in every situation, worthless and weak and you should autoreport anyone who even thinks of playing as that champion for being a scrub. At the same time, a champion with a win rate of 51% or higher is absolutely broken in every situation, is uncounterable, invincible and you should autoreport anyone who ever thinks of playing as that champion for being a scrub.

Here's a little secret: these statistics are being taken from the results of tens of millions of different players out there of every rank, and no matter how much you divide that pool, the win rate of that champion is not your win rate. You'll find yourself better with some champions than others. That's okay. I'm not good with Zed or Lee Sin, but I can give people hell with Braum, Tahm Kench and Vel'Koz. I used to wreck people's shit with Nautilus BEFORE he was buffed and the tank junglers were given some love, back when you could be reported for not building Feral Flare as the jungler.

Go play the game, find out the strengths and weaknesses of the champions for yourself, stop overreacting to buffs and nerfs, and don't rely on statistics to tell you who is and isn't good. Trust me, you'll be a lot happier.

Statistics are there for a reason. Stop being the guy that ignores them and thinks they don't matter, since they do. For examples champion.gg registers tens and hundreds of thousand of games in platinum+. If so many people don't have that much succes then that means a lot. Even Urgot with a 0.11% pick rate means he's played in over 28k games.
