For some reason, Riot decided to change Kayle's starting item in the jungle to Machete instead of Talisman. However, Talisman is the far superior starting item and taking Machete will leave you unable to do a full clear while Talisman allows a full clear with a potion to spare.

Slamurai Jack4 votesYou guys have a very strange definition of "viable" because she's actually pretty good right now. Not brokenly OP like she needs to be in order for the community at large to care about her, but she's still very strong in the hands of those that still care to use her.

Slamurai Jack1 votesI've just found that the health drain from Talisman leaves you far healthier than the lifesteal from Machete and gives you mana sustain on top of that. I've tried them both out multiple times; The talisman is strictly superior in pretty much every situation.
