I don't understand player mentality.

I don't wanna call it a rant thread, but it sure is annoying to see over and over.

-Botlane adc and support died to Lucian/Thr a few times in a short time, would they not think to..you know..play back or at least not fight for a bit? -You're botlane adc and died to Lucian 5 times, do you really think you guys can still fight without assistance? -You're pushing/shoving mid (or any lane really) and wondering why Naut (jg) is always on your case? -You walk down the most obvious path back to lane from another lane (in an attempt to gank), do you really think the MIA Akali wont be waiting or at least surveying where you probably are? -You really think Teemo support works well in a decent ranked elo?

You guys can add more if you have any, these were just recent ones in a game I had. And tbh, exactly what's wrong with how DQ. What I mean by that is, I wouldn't doubt if those guys were boosted, esp judging by their end scores.

had an issue like this today, I was the adc though

"Botlane adc and support died to Lucian/Thr a few times in a short time, would they not think to..you know..play back or at least not fight for a bit?"

its not always wise to play passively. Especially when the only reason you are dying is because your support is having fits of cowardice. Ideally they'd get the fuck over it and just not screw up when the exact same thing happens again. Of course reality is not ideal. You get a shit support sometimes, if you die once you'll probably die a second time unless youre just gonna assume they are just useless

"You're botlane adc and died to Lucian 5 times, do you really think you guys can still fight without assistance?"

yes, in fact sometimes we'd be better off if you'd spend your time more wisely on the other lanes instead of investing on someone who clearly isn't going to be having an easy time. OH HEY YOU DON'T LOOK WELL, I BETTER INCREASE YOUR BOUNTY, SHOVE YOUR LANE, MORE WEIGHT ON YOUR SHOULDERS ASSUMING WE EVEN GET THE KILL! And they always show after the lane stabilizes...

"-You're pushing/shoving mid (or any lane really) and wondering why Naut (jg) is always on your case?"

I don't wonder, I didn't tell him to shut the fuck up just for convenience. You think I don't know there's a problem? You think whining and bitching about feeding is going to help? Honestly it just makes me want to push my luck and see if ss@20 is worth it just to get the hell away from you when you do something like that and that's even if I'm not the one you're targeting with that kind of behavior. If someone is being a dick and their target wants to walk away, I WILL VOTE YES I DO NOT GIVE A FLYING FUCK WHAT IT COSTS US. As an adult I couldn't care less about winning and losing when someone is being abused for no damn reason. I will not condone that behavior for a videogame.

"You walk down the most obvious path back to lane from another lane (in an attempt to gank), do you really think the MIA Akali wont be waiting or at least surveying where you probably are? "

meh, some people dance close to the fire

"You really think Teemo support works well in a decent ranked elo?"

I'm sure there's some way to make that work, but I doubt anyone is willing to do it seriously

I remembered another one.

-I'm losing lane hard as a non-adc...Better keep building damage.

Disappointing that downvotes are happening here. It's just a stress-relief topic. Tfw silver board.

You might want to clarify some of them because it can be unclear/read multiple ways.

If botlane is dying at the enemy tower or middle of the lane 5 times to thresh/lucian, sure, play safer. If botlane getting dove at tower and dying 5 times, how much safer do you want them?

If the adc dies to lucian 1v1 5 times, yeah, stop trying to 1v1 him. If your adc dies to lucian 2v1 cause the support just decided to stand in the bush and not do anything making it a 1v1 essentially, then that's not really the adc's fault for thinking they had the advantage the first time this happens.

Is the Naut on your team or the enemy team? If the enemy jungle Naut is constantly camping cause the lane is pushed, then that's the players fault for being pushed. If your Naut is telling you to stop pushing lane, hopefully it's for a good reason like he wants to gank or he's trying to get the player to stop feeding the enemy mid/jungle.

I assume you mean the more obvious answers like "stop being aggressive", "stop 1v1ing the fed character", "you're getting camped cause you're constantly pushed", but just wanted to be sure.

- The enemy support just left lane for whatever reason, why is the ADC pushing the wave to their tower and then walking back to the middle of the lane and waiting for the wave to reset while the enemy ADC free farms from safety?
If you push to tower, either A) harass while he tries to farm preferably in time so he misses the CS if he tries to dodge your harass, B) dive if you think we can get a kill, C) get damage off on the tower, D) ping the jungler while you are in the process of pushing the wave in so we can get dragon/dive, or E) back and get items so when it resets we are stronger. Otherwise, please freeze the wave as close to our side and let the support zone the enemy adc while you free farm.

- Why is the support mindlessly autoing the wave while the enemy is in lane and their ally adc is trying to farm after being asked to stop doing it, especially since they are not even stealing the CS but just letting it die to the minions? Yeah, pushing the wave has it's time and place, but when I'm Tristana, I don't need help pushing the wave. It basically auto pushes whether I want it to or not. If you're trying to poke the enemy champs and it hits the wave, that's fine. If you accidentally auto the wave instead of the enemy champ, that's fine. If we are trying to push the wave and you are autoing to try and get them low for me, that's fine. If you are taking the ones I can't get, that's fine. But if you are seriously just standing next to me, not poking the enemy champs, autoing the creeps and just letting them die to minions, I seriously question your knowledge of supporting and this game in general.

**- If your team has a Kog'maw, Ashe, Jinx, Vayne, or other late game carry, why are you not protecting them?

  • If they have a late game ADC/carry, why are we not focusing them?** I don't care how far behind a late game ADC is, they are still a threat 90% of the time. Obviously the fed laners are more of a threat, but stop dumping all CC on the fed Mundo when we can 1 shot his team first and then all focus him. Also stop leaving your ADC to 1v1 the Nasus/Mundo/Trundle/Leblanc/Rengar/etc, it won't end well and it's not the ADC's fault when these people run past you in few view and straight for the ADC.

- If bot or top loses lane and the enemy laner is pushing our tier 2 tower, why are we not 3v1ing them? If I have a bad lane phase, I try to freeze the wave near our tier 2 tower so I can farm and to deny the enemy laner, only to have the enemy laner come up to break the freeze and start whacking away at this tower also. If they are that pushed up, someone needs to help punish them. It's not even a gank at this point, it's defending our base.

- If you watch the enemy chunk me to 100 health while you're setting up a gank, why are you blaming me for not helping with said gank after you die? If I am half health, I'm gonna try to help from a safe distance. If I am almost dead, I'm gonna be so far away from that fight just so they don't accidentally get a double. Please acknowledge this before going in.

- If I say "bot lane no summs, low health and staying" 3 minute into the game and you ping on your way, why are you not walking this way right now? Sure, if you want to finish the camp you were clearing, fine. Or if you want to push out your wave before roaming/teleporting, fine. Or if you are walking this way and suddenly get caught by an enemy jungler, fine. But seriously, do not ping on your way and then wait long enough that they are able to lifesteal/regen back up to 3/4 health when they were near 1/4 earlier.

- If you are a jungler and have a great level 6 (Amumu, Warwick, Yi maybe, Nautilus, etc), why did you not gank somewhere when you got 6? I'm totally guilty of this but I play jungle like 3 times a year, so this is more directed at those jungle mains out there. Sure, if you get 6 at wolves, it's hard to gank top immediately after. I really don't care if you gank for our 6/0 mid, just gank somewhere and use that power to help our team. Even if all you do is blow summoners, that's still something.

- Since everyone was hovering the champion they wanted to play in a normal game during champ select, why are you complaining about "gg, no tank" 20 minutes into the game? The minute support, jungle, and top lock in their champions, you already have a vague idea if you have a tank or not. Sure, you may have a surprive tank Viegar mid or tank Janna, but it's unlikely.

- If you play Kalista and you see the support walk in a way so the enemy team tries to kill them instead of you, why did you not ult them out? If my team picks a Kalista, I will almost insta-lock Thresh or Tahm for them just so we have synergy. If I'm focused, you ult me out, if you're focused, I get you out. If ult is down, that's my own fault, but if not, why even pick Kalista when there are better ADCs at the moment? Yeah, her ult can knock up, sure, it can also be an instant thresh lantern without the fear of someone preventing them from taking it and make them untargetable at the same time which is even better cause you can be randomly blitz hooked out of it.

You wanted me to clarify my lines but they're pretty self-explanatory.

DemainaNyx1 votes

Not really. I can assume but I don't know for certain.

I don't know where the botlane is dying in your example. If they are dying in the middle of the lane or at the enemy tower, sure play safe. If they are dying to a tower dive, where do you want your botlane to be?

Died to Lucian 5 times. Ok, was it 1v1, 1v2, 2v2, 1v5, etc? You can die to a specific champ while 4 others get assists on that kill.

Who's side is the Naut jungle on, enemy or ally?

Even my examples aren't that clear sometimes so I added the remark under it to hopefully clarify the moment I'm describing.
