Cassiopeia is in an even worse state than before

I'd like to call attention to our favorite poison mage. It seems that DOT mages were hurt pretty bad with this mage update, since Swain is doing pretty bad as well. Cassiopeia is currently at a 38% win rate for top (her best role currently), and that's just pathetic. I don't know if the issue is with the item changes, or with the changes to Cassiopeia herself, but she clearly needs some help. Swain could also use some love, as 39% win rate isn't that much better.

would be cool if they gave her the awesome passive back, instead of...what? movement speed? wth?

Considering she was a high-tier pick at LCS, you aren't really saying much.

For like what? 3 months? riot gutted her then, she is not allowed to remain strong and relevant EVER.

In pro play she was strong for a long time, the problem was that it was hard keeping her under control in pro games without making her a guaranteed loss in normals. The rework should hopefully bring those two levels of performance closer together so that, once her numbers are properly balanced, she can have a little better winrate in solo queue while still being viable in pro play without being oppressive.

Seriously... who cares about her winrate in solo Q when people play her who don't know what to do with her. I played her the whole season and have a 65% winrate... It's not like she's easier to play atm and don't know why I would want her to be easier since i already can play her like a Cassiopeia player should.

I played Cassi, she's easier to play now, but not as strong as before and not as fun. With the stacking passive it felt so rewarding to succesfully apply poison on enemy champs. Now without the stacking it feels like crap and we have 0 motivation to land it on life steal bruisers

I successfully land it multiple times on mid laners who have no lifesteal in fact I land the skill about 75% of the time and yet it's not enough to win lane before your mana bar is just destroyed.

Yup, I'd say it was worth it since I'd get at least 50 stacks from it, but naaaaaaaaaaah better give us move speed passive, right?

Zerolera1 votes

That's not really what I was trying to say. it was more along the line that since the damage per mana is pitiful it makes her laning phase horrible.

... still WIP.

I think it's funny how we make jokes like "this champ is only OP in bronze", but in reality, win rates for bronze are very similar to win rates in plat+. If you look at her winrate on lolking.net (and Swain's win rate as well), it's very similar to her winrate on champion.gg. My point is that it doesn't really matter what tier you're playing in. The performance of the champion is pretty much the same no matter where you go.
