with all these hybrid masteries, thunderlord and

his now early game is monstrously strong while retaining his god like late game. when are we going to do something about this? because i don't see any current nerfs for jax on surrender at 20. atleast i can hope for 5.25 to fix this

dangopee5 votesWell, with the upcoming patch you wont be able to stack Fervor on minions anymore to keep it permastacked. 18 in utility with the buffed precision hybrid penetration and buffed Thunderlord's will actually be better on him in 5.24

AA-W-AA is 6 stacks out of 10 by itself.
I hadn't considered the buffs to the flat hybrid pen mastery though (I would just play him 18/0/12)
dangopee1 votesEven right now his Q AA W combo procs Thunderlord's and does pretty crazy burst early. It's going to be even better this patch. I watched wingsofdeath play Thunderlord Jax yesterday against a Jayce. Destroyed him pretty hard when really Jayce should be able to cheese Jax early and win early game.

Minuano3 votesPlease tell me how it's early game when he gets those 2 items? By then it's at least mid game. Yeah, Jax is strong right now, but his early game is still really bad. He's a hypercarry. He gets strong with items. That's the point. Is it a little over the top? Maybe, but that's not the fault of Jax as much as it is rageblade, which I think is in a better spot now with the cost increase. And they are nerfing the AoE too, which should put it in a decent place.

Rageblade is far to cheap for what it provides even after the slight increase, no one can claim other wise. It is the sole reason why jax is played.
LordGeovanni1 votesonly problem i have with rage blade is that in developing it they basically grabbed form several other items to make it. the tiamat effect is okay and balanced the early lane damage of tiamat. there was no reason to give it the exact same magic damage as wits end and nerf wits end there was a point behind the 42. because wits end was the answer to everything wits end was wanted more for the damage and stealing of opponents stats than for being a tanky item there was no reason to nerf its damage expecially with the mass raise of mr items its not like ap carries or adcs used it (only kog maw can really use it effectively)

MunchCrunchLunch1 votesI do just as much damage with AD jax. am a JAX Main. 100k mastery with him. I can build trinity, phantom dancer, shiv, Bork, bloodthirster. edge and do STUPID damage. i actually prefer that over the hybrid build. not as good early game but imo its better late. unless the enemy team have mages that cause probs then i'd go hybrid for the ult MR.
